July 21, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: Affordable parking passes for UAE Students near campus just got easier for university students and staff in Dubai. Under the newly introduced student parking subscription program, eligible applicants can now register for Parking Passes for UAE Students through Parkin, Dubai’s official public parking operator.

This scheme provides a simple and affordable means of parking close to university campuses. The new student car park subscription avoids the possibility of daily payment or the likelihood of overstay in metered parking spaces.

According to Parkin officials, Parking Passes for UAE Students are designed to make higher education more accessible and to ease the burden of daily commuting for students and staff alike. The subscription also reflects Dubai’s ongoing efforts to simplify city life through smart mobility solutions.

Parking Passes for UAE Students: Who Can Apply and What It Covers

Students who are pursuing their studies at universities or colleges in Dubai, and teaching staff and administrative officers, are eligible to apply for the student parking subscription. To be eligible, valid student identity cards and registration certificates should be produced. They must prove that they are employees.

UAE Student Parking Passes provide unrestricted parking in roadside parking places and lot parking places (Zones A, B, C, and D), provided that their car is parked within a 500-metre radius of the registered campus of the applicant. This extensive coverage enables students to pick open locations around their institutions during the day.

Adding to the attractiveness of the program is the 80% discount on monthly fees for students. The much-needed reduction of monthly fees is meant to alleviate the financial burden on those who use private vehicles to commute to campus. It is only one vehicle that can be assigned to one student parking subscription to maintain equity and controlled safety. Students and teachers can opt for subscription length according to their requirement, with provisions for one, three, six, or twelve months.

Parking Passes For UAE Students: How to Apply, Price, and Documents to Submit

In order to subscribe for Parking Passes for UAE Students, one may access the Parkin website or access the Parkin mobile application. The application process is entirely online, with minimal uploads of necessary documents prior to final activation and approval.

The student parking subscription documents needed are:

  • Emirates ID
  • UAE driving license (current)
  • Vehicle registration
  • Student ID and enrollment certificate (for students only)
  • Employment confirmation (for employees)

After submission, Parkin’s system will authenticate the documents, and successful applicants will be notified with confirmation and activation of their Parking Passes for UAE Students within a few working days.

The student parking subscription is reasonably priced:

  • AED 100 for one month
  • AED 300 for three months
  • AED 600 for six months
  • AED 1,200 for twelve months

The 80% off for students amounts to a massive price reduction, making the Parking Passes for UAE students one of the cheapest mobility solutions in the emirate.

Other than university-specific plans, Parkin also provides general parking permits for AED 500 per month, and a “plot-only” subscription plan that includes certain B and D zones. These are best suited for individuals not covered by the student parking subscription plan.

Parkin has since extended membership eligibility to all of its offices. They are the high-density resident communities like Dubai Silicon Oasis, Al Karama, Al Qusais, Dubai Hills, Wasl Real Estate Communities, and Al Kifaf, the core locations where most students reside and travel from.

For the latest news, interested students are advised to visit the Parkin website or app from time to time. Assistance can even be obtained from Parkin customer service for UAE students to facilitate a hassle-free application process.
