August 2, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: The UAE Roads and Transport Authority (UAE RTA) has said that a new Dubai exit will open in early August 2025, there is a big new plan for drivers in the city. It will cut down traffic and travel time reduction by more than 50 percent on one of the city’s busiest roads.

The new Dubai exit will let cars move easily from Financial Centre Street to Ras Al Khor Road, making travel time reduction near the Bu Kadra Interchange much better. This new path is part of a big plan to make Dubai’s road network better, especially in busy work and trade areas.

With this new Dubai exit, travel time reduction will drop during busy hours from 13 minutes to just six minutes, a 54 percent cut. This shows the RTA’s aim to build a smart road system that stays in step with Dubai’s fast city growth.

“The Authority wants to keep making the city’s roads better, along with Dubai’s growth,” the UAE RTA said in a note.

The new Dubai exit will be a direct way for riders moving from Financial Centre Street to Ras Al Khor Street, helping ease jammed lanes that go to Dubai-Al Ain Street. By easing this busy spot, the plan helps make drives smoother and safer.

More Room, Shorter Rides of New Dubai Exit

The new Dubai exit is part of many improvements across the Ras Al Khor area. These are being done to manage the rising number of cars and large new business and work sites nearby.

Also, the RTA has made Exit 25 on Ras Al Khor Road wider, from one lane to two lanes toward Al Meydan Street. Now, it fits 3,000 cars every hour. Trip times here have fallen from seven minutes to four – a sign of the UAE RTA’s work toward better and smart plans for travel time reduction.

Both the new Dubai exit and the wider Exit 25 are part of the UAE RTA’s long goals to cut traffic, make roads safer, and keep up with Dubai’s city growth. These changes match the city’s Smart City goals and long road safety plans.

By fixing road blocks and making road changes smoother, the RTA helps daily drivers and meets the transport needs of Dubai’s work sectors.

New Road Plans by UAE RTA

These upgrades show how the UAE RTA drives city travel plans. The Authority keeps putting money into big projects that help people’s daily lives and keep Dubai a leader in road ideas.

The new Dubai exit should help businesses, cargo movers, and daily drivers by making access easier. With travel time reduction cuts over 50 percent, many drivers will feel the help at once.

As more cars fill the roads and the city gets busier, these quick fixes are key. The UAE RTA’s fast moves not only solve today’s traffic but also look ahead to future needs, keeping Dubai ahead in transport plans.

The RTA’s work is more than just making roads big. It’s part of a big plan for a linked, smooth, and future-ready way to move from place to place. They use new data and AI to see where traffic jams might happen, set traffic lights well, and get better at fixing problems fast. As more people and companies move near Ras Al Khor and Financial Centre Street, these moves will not just meet today’s needs but are planned to help with expected growth.

In the next months, expect the RTA to bring more ways to move around, like better public transport links, ways for people to walk, and smart signs. For people living there and companies, these moves show that Dubai is not just following other big cities, it’s leading.

The RTA has said the new Dubai exit will start taking cars in the first week of August 2025. With the start in early August 2025, people driving can hope for safer, quicker, and more smooth trips.
