Dubai, UAE, 3 October 2025 – Dubai is ready for the sixth edition of Dubai Ride 2025, the largest community cycling event in the region, to be held on 2 November 2025. The event will mark the initial weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), which will convert to a bicycle path dedicated to busy roads for thousands of riders. Residents and visitors will get a rare opportunity to cycle some of Dubai’s most reputable sites in a safe and festive environment.
Routes for All Levels and Ages
This year’s Dubai ride 2025 provides two main cycling routes. The first is a 12-km route along the Sheikh Zayed Road, designed for more experienced cyclists. The route begins near the Dubai World Trade Center and runs to Safa Park and Back. It involves a climb on the Dubai Canal Bridge and presents a spectacular view of the city’s horizon, including the Museum of the Future and Burj Khalifa.

The second route is a 4-kilometer loop friendly to a family, which is around Dubai. This flat course is perfect for early, young children and cyclists of all capabilities. It passes through famous places like the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa. Both routes are suitable for all riders, but children must be with an adult on the family route.
People of adaptation are fully supported, with special entry points available for customized bicycles, hand cycles, and leading bikes. The purpose of the incident is to include everyone and promote cycling for all members of the community as a healthy and social activity.
Speed Laps for Advanced Cyclists
For those looking for an additional challenge, the Dubai ride 2025 will resume the speed laps segment this year. Speed laps 12 km Sheikh Zayed Road route has a sharp ride, which starts from 5:00 am to 6:00 am. Cycle drivers should maintain a minimum average speed of 30 kilometers per hour to participate. They need to use the racer bike designed for this speed and follow the instructions of the event marshal for safety.

Speed Laps participants can join the main Dubai Ride 2025 event afterward to celebrate their achievement with friends and family. Registrations for Speed Laps open on 6 October, separate from the general Dubai Ride registration.

Participants must register in advance to secure their location. The event organizers insist that all the riders must bring a working bicycle, wear a helmet, and carry their official bib number during the ride.
Bibs can be collected from 29 October to 1 November in Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village from 29 October to 1 November. The region will serve as a hub for cycling and running events within the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

On the day of the incident, the roads will be closed from morning to evening and will open again by about 8:00 pm. The main Dubai Ride 2025 event will start at 6:15 am. Riders are advised to prepare their bicycles and safety gear carefully, including checking brakes, tires, and gears before the ride. Wearing sunglasses and applying sunscreen are recommended due to the bright morning sun.

Since its launch, Dubai Ride 2025 has steadily increased in popularity, with an increase of 85 percent in participation. The event forms a key part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which encourages people to commit to 30 minutes of daily exercise for 30 days. This year’s Dubai Ride 2025 is especially significant as it aligns with the UAE’s “Year of Community,” highlighting the power of sport to bring people together.
Top officials emphasize that Dubai Ride 2025 promotes an active lifestyle and strengthens community bonds.
