November 14, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: The sky in the United Arab Emirates was turned into a heavenly spectacle last night with the Super moon in the UAE, the so-called Beaver Supermoon, making its appearance over the horizon and at least enthralled both residents and stargazers. This lunar spectacle reaffirmed the reason why such a phenomenon as the super moon in the UAE is so captivating. It is a one-of-a-kind spectacle for astronomy enthusiasts and nature lovers, brilliantly charming the citizens.
The viewing, located in the Dubai astronomy group Al Awir Second park, was attended by dozens of star lovers who began to come out at 7 pm. This was followed by a Q&A session where the people got a chance to ask questions on the phases, orbits, and lunar photography.
Next came the best part: looking at craters, maria, and surface textures at the lunar surface through professional telescopes. A feature that was popular was the ability of the participants to take their own moon-shots using smartphones using telescope eyepieces. The highlight of the event is the Super Moon in the UAE.
Operations Manager of Dubai Astronomy Group, Ms Khadijah Hasan Ahmed, reported that the weather was very nice and the skies were clear, although there was a dusty situation in the air.

To the UAE residents, this Super Moon in the UAE was a reminder of how significant the sky can become at night, even in the urban areas. It provided people with an awe moment devoid of the daily frenzy.
The Beaver Supermoon is the second in a trilogy of supermoons in 2025, in terms of lunar occurrences. It is the next after the Hunter’s Supermoon on October 7, and the next day will be the Cold Supermoon on December 5 that will conclude the series of supermoons this year.
