Falling debris from a successfully intercepted ballistic missile causes casualties and vehicle damage on Sweihan Street as authorities begin investigation

Fatalities Reported After Interception

2 people lost their lives, 3 others sustained injuries due to the Abu Dhabi debris incident. The incident took place on Sweihan Street, after debris fell due the interception of a ballistic missile by UAE defence systems, drawing instant emergency response.

Injuries and Property Damage

Few vehicles were also damaged due to the falling debris, authorities confirmed. In order to help the injured and protect the affected area, emergency teams rushed to the site during the Abu Dhabi debris incident.

Authorities Start Investigation

An investigation has been started by officials, stated Abu Dhabi Media into the Abu Dhabi debris incident. For now, the victims’ identities have not been disclosed, and further updates are awaited as inquiries continue.

Public Urged to Follow Official Sources

Authorities urge resident to rely only on verified information from official channels only. Authorities warned against spreading rumours or unassured reports related to the incident, reflecting the importance of public cooperation during such sensitive situations.
