Dubai, April 21, 2025: Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, officially inaugurated Dubai AI Week 2025. He communicated a strong message to companies in the Emirate of Dubai: that every company in Dubai must embrace AI in order to live; else, it should forget about being relevant. The event promises to usher in the digital future in Dubai from April 21 to 25 with over 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries.

Dubai AI Week 2025: A Global Gathering

The Dubai AI Week 2025 is probably among the largest of the events that bring together AI leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the globe. The week was opened by the AI Retreat at the Museum of the Future, where about 150 officials and experts gathered to discuss topics such as data, infrastructure, talent, and investments.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum opened the proceedings with a speech underlining that AI is the soil of the future Dubai. He said AI is the backbone of all sectors-from government to education and the economy. Furthermore, Sheikh Hamdan stated that Dubai would review what public entities and academic institutions can contribute to AI.

Dubai AI Week 2025 include:

  • Over 10,000 global experts and participants.
  • Delegations from more than 100 countries.
  • More than 50 expert sessions on AI trends and tools.
  • Major tech companies such as Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, Nvidia, and Google Cloud in attendance.
  • Dubai Assembly for AI, Dubai AI Festival, Machines Can See Summit, and a massive Hackathon.

Minister Al Olama made it clear that AI is no longer a trend but an essential part of life. He said that every company today in Dubai must adopt AI if they want to be competitive. Those who ignore AI today risk being left behind as the world goes forward.

What Dubai AI Week 2025 should teach the offices and companies about using AI in practice; not just for the sake of it, but in such a way that it enhances the quality of life for all Dubai residents.
