May 5, 2025; Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE has announced a major step in education. Starting from the next academic year, UAE Public Schools will introduce AI official subject for all students, from kindergarten to Grade 12. This move makes the UAE one of the first countries in the world to teach artificial intelligence to every student at every stage of their schooling.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that AI official subject will be part in the curriculum in all UAE public schools. The subject will be taught under the “Computing, Creative Design, and Innovation” program. The subject will fit into the current timetable under the existing Computing, Creative Design, and Innovation classes.
