Dubai Access Club: The Invitation-Only Perk for Returning Visitors

Dubai Access Club: What We Know So Far

Dubai has launched a program exclusively for returning tourists, and the specifics are still not being revealed.

People who fly often have access to airline lounges, and now Dubai wishes its frequent visitors to feel just as special. On Sunday, 1 November 2026, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the Dubai Access Club.

The Dubai Media Office describes it as “the world’s first city-led, invitation-only tourism membership program.” Although it sounds exciting, a great deal of the detailed information has still not been made available. Dubai Access Club is a new members-only programme that aims to turn repeat visitors into regulars.

What is the Dubai Access Club?

To put it simply, the Dubai Access Club is a loyalty program aimed at people who visit repeatedly. Members will be invited and will be offered “exclusive experiences, services, and benefits.” The purpose of the program is to provide a good reason for people to come back.

However, the specific details of the perks have not yet been made public, so at this time there is no list of discounts, upgrades, or fast-track services available.

Who Gets an Invitation?

That is the major open question. Although the program is by invitation only, the criteria for eligibility and the way invitations are sent have not been made public. There is no public sign-up option, and no cost has been stated. Different reports also provide conflicting information regarding the timing.

The National says the initiatives will be launched this month, while other reports give no specified launch date for the Dubai Access Club itself. Therefore, if you are a regular visitor, you should look out for official announcements rather than make guesses.

Visa Applications Move Online

The statement also includes something about tourist visas. From November onwards, individuals will be able to apply for both single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas via the Visit Dubai website, with additional visa categories being intended.

GDRFA Dubai will continue to examine the applications and grant the visas. However, the fees, the processing times, and other service information have not been provided. The Dubai Access Club and the visa service were developed by GDRFA Dubai, the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Digital Dubai as part of the Shared Digital Channels Initiative.

The Bigger Goal

Sheikh Hamdan stated that the plan aligns with Dubai’s aim of becoming “the preferred choice for travellers all over the world and a global benchmark for quality and convenience.” Another statement highlights the objective of putting Dubai in the top three tourist destinations of the world. The Dubai Access Club is part of this initiative, together with easier visa access.

The Numbers Behind It

To put it in context, the National states that Dubai received 6.97 million international visitors in the first eight months of 2026, as compared with 19.59 million in all of 2025.

In August, the number of international overnight visitors was 869,000, which is the highest figure since February, and hotel occupancy during that month was 66 percent. It is these figures that account for Dubai’s efforts to secure return customers, and a scheme such as the Dubai Access Club is one way of keeping satisfied visitors coming back.

What to Do Now

If you go to Dubai frequently, there isn’t much to do anyway. Here are a few simple steps:

Keep up to date with the latest information from Visit Dubai and the Dubai Media Office regarding the Dubai Access Club.

Don’t believe the sign-up links or the messages that say they are offering early membership; the program is invitation-only.

If you intend to apply for a tourist visa, be sure to visit the Visit Dubai website in November.

The Bottom Line

The Dubai Access Club is an interesting idea, though its story has not yet been completed. At present, the main point is clear, and the details will follow.
