UAE Weather : Jamrat Al Qayth Brings Searing 45-50°C Temperature rise

July 5, 2025 | Dubai, UAE. The United Arab Emirates has become official with the beginning of Jamrat Al Qayth, which is summer time and intense heat for a duration of usually 26-40 days. Again, this Arabic configuration indicates severe UAE weather and intense heat at this time of year, which will usually be even hotter in the summer.

Uncovering Jamrat Al Qayth

Jamrat Al Qayth, which translates to “ember” or “heated coal” in Arabic, is also when the sun’s rays become the strongest, and temperatures also start to rise. This season is regarded as one of the hottest times of the year in the UAE, and temperatures can reach 45-50°C during the day (113-122°F).

Furthermore, it is predicted that Extreme heat will swelter in UAE for the next few days with temperatures reaching 48°C (118°F) on Monday, 49°C (120°F) on Tuesday, and 50°C (122°F) on Wednesday.

The UAE weather is about to be hit with some very extreme heat waves during Jamrat Al Qayth. Officials are alerting the public to real health risks, especially to the fragile, including the elderly, babies and children, and people with preexisting health conditions.

Officials are warning everyone living and/or visiting the UAE to take precautions. They recommend drinking lots of water regardless of whether you feel thirsty, and staying inside the building when the sun is bearing down on you. If you can find shade or make it to an air-conditioned space. People are advised to keep an eye on UAE weather alerts for updates and health warnings. Taking precautions in advance will limit the likelihood of those problems.

Thus, it is better to avoid outdoor exertion during the hottest hours of the day, usually between 11 am and 3 pm, and to wear light, loose-fitting clothing, and share a beverage, hat, shirts, sunglasses or sunscreen, which can all additionally avoid heat-related illness and sunburn. If hats and shirts are worn to the limit, beverage, sunscreen use, or remaining inside during the hottest sun hours should certainly limit burns of any kind. 

Bracing For The Blaze 

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) – United Arab Emirates has released a UAE weather forecast predicting high temperatures and humidity levels across the country during Jamrat Al Qayth. The NCM has also warned of the possibility of sandstorms and reduced visibility in some areas. Residents and visitors in the UAE are advised to stay up to date on the UAE weather forecast to track temperatures and humidity levels.

There are a few different things that can be done to remain cool during such extreme heat. Using air conditioning and fans will keep homes and offices cooler, while planting trees and greenery can provide shade and help mitigate urban heat island effects. Cooling towels and cold compresses can be used to cool the body temperature, too. Another important consideration is to avoid strenuous activities and be sure to take shaded breaks to reduce the chances of suffering from heat exhaustion.
