The council is giving a very strong warning to those in the United Arab Emirates who might be tempted to buy tickets from these so-called “official” websites and a few resale groups that are already marketing the event at a very inflated price or are just putting up the Asia Cup 2025 tickets which are fake.
Asia Cup 2025, which is going to be one of the most awaited sports events of the region, is attracting a huge crowd before the official launch of ticketing. A bunch of such fraudulent websites have emerged in the last few weeks, propagating the sale of Asia Cup 2025 tickets with several of them hyping the so-called VIP passes that can be bought for an amount as high as Dh11,000. According to ACC, those adverts are hoaxes, and the tickets that can be obtained through them will not allow anyone to enter the stadium.
ACC Issues Strong Advisory to Protect Cricket Fans
In a post on X, the Asian Cricket Council reiterated that authorized platforms will be the only places where the Asia Cup 2025 tickets will be sold. “Any tickets that are currently being sold are illegal, fraudulent, and will not provide access,” said the ACC team. They are in great collaboration with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to schedule a ticket sales event that will authorize the release.

The ACC is reminding cricket fans that the Asia Cup 2025 tickets are not yet available and is therefore asking them to stay alert so as to not fall into the trap of those selling tickets under the pretext that they are the sole distributors or that they are resale be it.

The official information will be distributed very soon, and that will be the only way to be sure that everyone, regardless of who they are, gets a fair and safe chance at accessing the tickets.”
The ACC also appealed to fans to keep track of its official social media presence and live updates on its website. This method is one of the most effective ways to stop scams and ensure that loyal supporters receive their tickets under the same terms and conditions as the tournament is being conducted.
Asia Cup 2025 Tickets are expected to be in demand beyond belief. The demand will be particularly high for those matches that will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. Soon after the official release, silent sales, and pre-booking a limited number of tickets will be some of the special offers released by retailers and online ticketing agents. Any tickets posted online before that will continue to be invalid and unauthorised.
