Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced Changed Bus Routes in Dubai as part of a major public transport update. These changes came into effect on January, 2026. The update includes four new inner-city bus routes and adjustments to more than 70 existing routes. The goal is to improve travel efficiency, reduce crowding, and serve growing residential areas.

The Changed Bus Routes in Dubai focus on better peak-hour movement and improved access to key districts. Many updates involve small changes, such as new stops, cancelled stops, and timetable adjustments. Four New Inner-City Bus Routes Launched

As part of the Changed Bus Routes in Dubai, the RTA launched four new inner-city routes. These routes mainly support busy peak hours.

    Operates one way from Al Satwa Bus Station to Jumeirah 3.
    It runs during morning peak hours.
    It supports the efficiency of Route 88.
  • Route 88B:
    Operates from Jumeirah 3 to Al Satwa Bus Station.
    It runs during evening peak hours.
    It also supports Route 88.
  • Route 93A (Morning):
    Operates one way from Al Satwa Bus Station to Al Wasl.
    It runs during morning peak hours.
    It supports the efficiency of Route 93.
  • Route 93A (Evening):
    Operates from Al Wasl to Al Satwa Bus Station.
    It runs during evening peak hours.
    It supports Route 93.

These Changed Bus Routes in Dubai aim to reduce delays and crowding during rush hours. They also improve direct travel between busy neighborhoods.

Over 70 Dubai Bus Routes Revamped

The Changed Bus Routes in Dubai also include updates to more than 70 existing bus routes. Many of these updates are minor but important for daily users. Changes include new running times, revised stop sequences, timetable updates, and depot changes.

The RTA confirmed that 26 routes will see stop additions or cancellations. These updates help improve safety, reduce overlap, and improve access to new areas.

    Two new stops added at Dubai People of Determination Center and Mayo Clinic.
  • Route 13A:
    Service extended to Al Muhaisnah 2, 7th Street.
  • Route 16:
    Al Awir bus stop cancelled.
  • Route 29:
    Emirates Towers 1 stop cancelled.
    New stop added at Museum of the Future.
  • Route 55:
    Extended in International City to Greece Cluster, K12.
  • Route C09:
    Stops cancelled at Oxygen Dubai 2, Gargash Cars 2, and Renault Service Centre 2.
  • Routes C15 and F01:
    Al Baraha Masjid 2 stop cancelled.
    New stop added on Abu Baker Al Siddique Street before D82.
  • Route F39:
    Extended to Oud Al Muteena area.
    New stops added at Oud Al Muteena 2 A1, Masjid, and B1.
    Algeria Street 6-1 stop cancelled.
  • Route F46:
    Two stops cancelled at Choithrams Supermarket 2 and Green Community Main Entrance Gate 2.

More Route Adjustments Across Dubai

Additional Changed Bus Routes in Dubai include the following updates:

  • Route F54:
    Realigned to serve South Residential Area of JAFZA.
    Stops on Al Munawalah Streets 1, 2, and 3 cancelled.
  • Route F55:
    Expanded to serve Dubai World Central cargo zone.
    Two new bus stops added.
  • Route DH1:
    Storm Coaster at Dubai Hills Mall stop cancelled.
  • Routes 12 and 93:
    Umm Suqeim Etisalat stop cancelled.
  • Route 18:
    Two new stops added on 7A Street.
    Stops include Al Nahda Pond Park and MSB Private School.
  • Route 31:
    Dubai Academic City 2 stop cancelled.
  • Route 83:
    Shatha Tower stop cancelled.
  • Routes 21B and F26A:
    Al Telaa Technical Industries 1 stop cancelled.
  • Route 36B:
    New stop added at Dubai Outsource City, Royal Bank of Scotland 1.
  • Route F10:
    Al Warqa’a E21 stop cancelled.
  • Route F61:
    New stop added at Al Jassmi Masjid 1.
  • Route 320:
    New stop added at Dubai Outsource City, VOGO Grand Hotel.
  • Routes E100 and E201:
    Max Metro Station stop relocated.
    New location is Al Jafiliya Bus Station.
