July 18, 2025 | Dubai, UAE. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has plans for the creation of the world’s first underwater bullet train that would connect Dubai to Mumbai. The project is promised to transform travel and trade for the two cities in mere hours. It is going to be a significant and historic move connecting the two nations.

Speeding Across The Sea

The world’s first underwater bullet train will travel approximately 1,200-2,000 kilometers, making it one of the longest undersea rail links anywhere in the world. The train will run between the speed of 600-1,000 km/h, reducing the travel time from Dubai to Mumbai. This is indeed going to be a game-changing event.

As per the reports, the undertaking is still in the feasibility study phase. However, the decision on the commencement is expected to be announced anytime soon. If the decision is implemented, then this project will be a transformation of opportunity for the region. Not only this, but this decision will also promote trade, tourism, and economic development in both India and the UAE.
