July 16, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: In a moment filled with genuine optimism and purpose, FCCI Seccy Gen Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sat down in Dubai this week to talk not just about trade but about possibilities. Their discussion, built on trust and forward-thinking vision, focused on the many sectors of interest in UAE where India’s heartland state and the Emirates could grow together.
“This isn’t just a diplomatic handshake, It’s about understanding each other’s strengths and working as partners not only in business, but in building better futures,” said the FCCI Seccy Gen after the meeting.
From Talk to Teamwork
Too often, international meetings are full of polite words and press photos. But this one was different. One of the key takeaways? A dedicated team will now be formed with members from both sides to actively follow up on the sectors of interest in UAE that were discussed.

“This team will get things done, It won’t stop at paperwork. We’re talking site visits, real meetings with businesses in MP, and on-ground follow-ups,” confirmed the FCCI Seccy Gen. And that’s what made the conversation feel real. Both leaders weren’t just sharing ideas; they were building a roadmap together.
Shared Priorities, Shared Potential
When CM Mohan Yadav spoke to ANI after the meeting, he was visibly upbeat. “The whole day was about Madhya Pradesh and Dubai coming together. It’s about how we can both rise by working side-by-side,” he said.
Nine key sectors of interest in UAE emerged from the dialogue, all areas where MP has real potential and the UAE brings world-class experience:
- Clean Energy
- Smart Cities
- Infrastructure
- Agriculture
- Pharmaceuticals
- Food Processing
- Mining
- Digital Innovation
- Tourism
The FCCI Seccy Gen noted how closely these sectors align with the UAE’s national priorities especially sustainability, technology, and future-ready industries. “These sectors speak the same language in both countries, and that’s where real opportunity lies, ” he said.

What This Means for Madhya Pradesh?
While this was an international meeting, the impact will be felt far from Dubai on the ground in cities and towns across Madhya Pradesh.
With clean energy high on the agenda, CM Yadav highlighted solar and wind corridors already being mapped back home. With the UAE’s expertise and investment, those plans could soon power homes, schools, and businesses.
The FCCI Seccy Gen also expressed keen interest in smart city development. Mid-sized cities in MP could become showcases for urban design, blending Indian ingenuity with Emirati planning expertise. “It’s about bringing meaningful change, We’re not just chasing numbers, we’re investing in better living for people,” the FCCI Seccy Gen said.

Business, But With a Human Face
What stood out most during this visit was the strong people-to-people tone.
“There’s so much Indian heart in the UAE, this relationship already feels like family,” said CM Yadav. That sentiment is shared by the UAE’s business leaders, many of whom have partnered with Indian companies across the Gulf for decades. Now, that familiarity is turning into deeper collaboration in areas that matter are jobs, skills, and future industries.
The FCCI Seccy Gen shared that a UAE business delegation will soon visit MP. But it won’t just be investors flying in. “We want our business community to walk the streets of MP, talk to farmers, visit small factories. Understand the real India. That’s how you build partnerships that last,”said Seccy Gen.
Collaboration Beyond Borders
The UAE isn’t just seeing India as a market. It’s seeing India as a collaborator in innovation and impact and with Global Dialogue 2025 underway, CM Yadav is taking MP’s story to the world. After Dubai, his next stop is Spain. But it’s clear this UAE visit has laid the foundation for something deeper.
In addition to the FCCI Seccy Gen, the CM also met leaders from LuLu Group, Tata Group, and e& (formerly Etisalat). The response was overwhelmingly positive with many of them expressing interest in the same sectors of interest in UAE. “We see opportunity. But more importantly, we see intent,” said one UAE business leader during the event.

Building More Than Trade
Perhaps the most human moment of the day came when the FCCI Seccy Gen reflected on what these partnerships really mean.
“It’s easy to talk about trade and investment,” he said. “But what we’re really doing here is sharing dreams. Whether it’s a farmer in MP or a tech entrepreneur in Dubai, they all want the same things, stability, growth, and dignity in work. And that’s what we hope to build together,” added Gen. His message was clear: the sectors of interest in UAE are only valuable if they improve lives.
One Meeting, Many Futures
The meeting between CM Mohan Yadav and the FCCI Seccy Gen wasn’t just another high-level engagement, it was a meaningful conversation rooted in action. With clearly defined sectors of interest in UAE, a follow-up team in motion, and shared values at the core, the visit marks a promising chapter in UAE-India collaboration.
As Madhya Pradesh positions itself as a global player and the UAE continues to expand its international partnerships, this is the kind of dialogue that brings growth not just to boardrooms but to people.
