July 18, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: Nothing, the UK consumer technology company based in London, formally launched its first headphone in the UAE and unveiled its highly anticipated Phone (3) in a charged ceremony at the Museum of the Future. The event, with Creators HQ, was a milestone moment for the growth of the brand to the region and to its increase in the UAE creative economy.

By over 120 of the region’s top creators in the UAE, introducing Nothing’s distinctive design philosophy, performance optimization, and ecosystem-first approach. Unexpectedly, the company debuted its first headphone in the UAE, a premium, over-ear sound experience for creators and audiophiles.

Next-Gen Flagship Phone and First Headphone in the UAE Turn Heads

Co-founder Akis Evangelidis told us to get a deep look at how Phone (3) builds on the company’s bold vision of “making tech fun again.” The phone features the new Glyph Interface—a circular ring of LEDs on the back of the phone that can be scripted to facilitate interactions with apps, clock timers, and even track solar cycles without unlocking the phone.

Phone (3) is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, up to 16 GB of RAM, IP68 water protection, and three 50 MP cameras – all in Nothing’s classic clear design.

But the highlight of the event was when the company unveiled its first headphone in the UAE. Codenamed “Headphone (1),” it is Nothing’s first official move into the UAE over-ear audio scene. Co-designed with British audio hardware firm KEF, the UAE’s first-ever headphone features:

  • See-through casing with open components
  • Memory foam ear cushions for long-lasting comfort
  • Custom physical buttons (Roller, Paddle, Bufton)
  • Adaptive Spatial Audio with AI-driven Noise Cancellation
  • 40mm High-Resolution Optimized Drivers

Its Design Head, Adam Bates, described it as “an intentional convergence of function, form, and futuristic detail.” He paraphrased the manner in which the UAE’s first headphone embodies Nothing’s mission to bring industrial design to personal technology.

Accelerating the UAE’s Creator and Innovation Economy

UAE Government Media Office Deputy Chairperson Alia Al Hammadi commended the event for aligning with Dubai’s creator economy and digital-first strategy. “Innovation and collaborations empowering youth creatives are fostered in the UAE,” she added. “The launch of Nothing’s first headphone in the UAE represents more than a product – it reflects opportunity and collaboration.”

The brand tie-up with Creators HQ, a domestic creative incubator that boasts more than 3,500 members, also lent further robustness to the brand within the region. Creators HQ aims to expand its community of 10,000 content creators by 2027 and products like the UAE’s first headphone are supporting this objective.

Dubai Future Foundation COO Abdulaziz AlJaziri welcomed Nothing’s emphasis on locally grown innovation. “The UAE remains a very open lab for the world to test technology innovation. Launch of Phone (3) and the world’s first-ever headphone in the UAE further strengthens our role as the region’s innovation hub,” he added.

Launch Offers, Availability, and Exclusive Pricing

Nothing marked the occasion by launching an exclusive limited-time #Drops100 offer in Dubai. From July 17, the initial 100 Sharaf DG customers in Dubai Mall get to experience the headphones and enjoy exclusive early bird access to the UAE’s first headphones.

Phone (3) goes on sale on July 18 in two variants:

  • 12 GB + 256 GB – AED 2,999
  • 16 GB + 512 GB – AED 3,299

(Global launch price for Phone (3) is $799, or around AED 2,930.)

The first headphone to be seen in the UAE will make its debut initially as a bundle with Phone (3) under the #Drops100 program. Individual product prices will follow later this month. Tech fans can expect the first headphone in the UAE to provide an immersive, studio-quality listening experience that’s optimized for performance and looks.

With Phone (3) and the UAE’s first, Nothing has launched a beachhead in the nation. Nothing is dedicated to building an entire ecosystem of user-first, design-driven products that speak to the Middle East’s new community of creators and digital disruptors. The first headphone in the UAE is not just a noise device – it’s a design statement of superiority, brand statement, and artistic license.
