Abu Dhabi, June 3, 2025 – The UAE is enhancing its position as a global startup hub by introducing new benefits. Most recently, startups and social enterprises are coming to grow and succeed in a free office space in UAE, most notably in Abu Dhabi. This, in general, forms part of a strategy to provide UAE startup incentives that would attract and draw entrepreneurs from around the world.

A New Era for Startups: Free Office Space in UAE

Athar+, a lively co-working space at M39, was launched by Abu Dhabi as a gesture of goodwill toward startups and entities engaged in social good. This platform, under the stewardship of the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, is permanent. It is an expansion of incubation programs conducted earlier. Whereas they were twice a year and only accepted intakes for a limited time, Athar+ will now be accepting applications and intakes year-round on a rolling basis, allowing more startups to capitalize on free office space in UAE with no waiting intervals.

Athar+ is not just about providing a desk and chair. It offers a range of UAE startup incentives that include:

  • Free office space for startups, NGOs, and social enterprises
  • Access to workshops and training sessions
  • Networking opportunities with other startups, investors, and mentors
  • Financial and logistical support tailored to each stage of business growth
  • Continuous guidance and resources to help startups make a social impact

The scheme is open to any company that targets any social priorities in Abu Dhabi and provides measurable value to them. There are no restrictions on how many applicants or types of sectors they represent.

How UAE Startup Incentives Empower Entrepreneurs

The UAE government has always championed the cause of startups and small businesses. It has instituted several UAE startup incentives besides free office space in UAE to foster the ecosystem; some of them include financial grants, low-interest loans, and eased-up regulatory processes that allow new ventures to easily set up and scale up.

Athar+ is unique in that it places a lot of emphasis on outcomes and continuous improvement. Depending on the stage of growth the startup is in, it is provided with various support measures, whether just starting out or ready to scale up. The platform also instills collaboration by merging separate incubators, NGOs, investors, or other stakeholders in one place.

Here are the main rules and features of the Athar+ initiative:

  • Applications are accepted all year, not just during set periods
  • There are no restrictions on the number or type of startups that can join
  • Startups must address social priorities and show measurable impact
  • Support includes free office space, workshops, and networking events
  • Financial and logistical help is available based on the needs of each startup
  • The platform is designed to foster connections and partnerships
  • Participants can pitch to investors and use professional facilities
  • The support continues as startups grow and develop new ideas
  • The focus is always on creating positive social outcomes

The UAE startup schemes are now benefiting a whole host of entrepreneurs, including entrepreneurs such as Ahmad Al Shawa, whose group supports people with Multiple Sclerosis, and Hamdan Al Ali, who developed an AI tool for diagnosing speech delay in children. They mention the key factors that free office space in UAE, coupled with networking and exposure, offers, allowing them to rebuild, scale, and procure sponsors and partners.

Being able to avail themselves of this free office space in UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi, is much more than what one can call an opportunity for startup businesses. The incentives for these UAE startups provide the entrepreneurs with qualifications, resources, and opportunities to apply throughout their thriving years. By breaking barriers and ensuring unadulterated assistance, the UAE is thus setting forth an ideal example to nurture innovation and social change. There is now a wonderful future for startups taking advantage of this one-of-a-kind offer in the heart of the UAE.
