September 6, 2025| Dubai, UAE: Each year, thousands of Muslims worldwide embark on Hajj 2026, their religious journey to Saudi Arabia, one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam. The journey is supported by the religious authorities through a registered and accountable system for the natives of the UAE.

The latest announcement has confirmed that the UAE Pilgrimage Registration for Hajj 2026 will officially begin on September 24, allowing residents to book their place for the sacred pilgrimage. The management of the entire procedure is by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, which is organizing for the system’s effectiveness, accountability, and transparency to applicants.

Registration Process and Details

The UAE Pilgrimage Registration for Hajj 2026 will commence from September 24 to October 9, providing applicants a 14-day period to apply. Bookings for the sacred pilgrimage can be made through the Awqaf website or through their mobile application, which has been developed to aid the applicants.

Additionally, the board has arranged accommodation, travel, and other services in collaboration with certified organizers. The entrance criteria are for the citizens of the UAE, with priority given to those who have never experienced it. Individuals are required to submit documents such as place of stay, fitness certificates, and identification for verification, guaranteeing that all pilgrims are ready and fit for the strenuous rituals of the Hajj pilgrimage.

Successful residents will be provided approved operators through an accountable system, eradicating chaos and ensuring transparency in the selection process.

Necessity of Early Preparation

The declaration of the Hajj 2026 booking one year in advance is pre-planned. The involvement of the UAE authorities in providing detailed information allows pilgrims to prepare wholeheartedly. Undertaking the sacred pilgrimage requires comprehensive planning, including flight tickets to Saudi Arabia, traveling within the holy city, and health preparations.

Advanced timelines mean they can be optimistic, physically fit, and mentally prepared. The voyage requires not just a strong belief but also stamina, as rituals like Tawaf, Se’ai, and standing at Arafat can be physically challenging.

With prior notice, citizens can start making arrangements with their workplaces, securing funds for the voyage, and attending vigilance workshops offered by Awqaf. Awqaf also highlights that early UAE pilgrimage registration will ensure a smooth flow of service allotment.

By knowing the number of applicants beforehand, the organization can make sure that the fair facilities and support staff are available, making the journey secure and comfortable.

Prioritizing First-Time Pilgrims

Following the Islamic calendar and the practice of accountability, the holy pilgrimage 2026 will prioritize first-time pilgrims. It ensures that as many people as possible get the opportunity to fulfill their religious duty. Awqaf’s online platform has been created to choose applicants based on previous records, giving priority to citizens who have never performed Hajj.

However, the system also affects individuals with special circumstances. For example, if someone has performed Hajj but has to accompany a family member due to health conditions, disability, or age, their application will be under the humanitarian quota. This neutral approach emphasizes the equalitarianism of the US system while still adhering to the guidelines of fairness.
