Taghrid Alsaeed, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Events at Miral, described the partnership as one rooted in a shared passion for creativity and storytelling. She said events of this scale create moments that resonate with audiences worldwide and strengthen Yas Island’s standing as a destination that competes with the very best in global entertainment.
For IIFA founder and director Andre Timmins, the return to Abu Dhabi represents something deeply personal alongside its commercial significance. He said every edition of IIFA has been driven by one ambition taking the magic and power of Indian cinema to the world. In 2027, he said, that ambition becomes bigger than ever.
“Abu Dhabi has embraced IIFA, our film fraternity and our audiences with extraordinary warmth,” Timmins said. “This IIFA, we want to raise that bar again, bigger stars, bigger experiences, deeper fan engagement and a celebration that reaches far beyond the arena.” He also noted that Indian cinema has never been more global, its stars never more influential and its audiences never more connected — making 2027 the right moment for what he described as an exciting new era for IIFA.
