Due to sophisticate lost and found Dubai systems and strong community cooperation, Dubai Police managed to recover and return to hundreds of thousands of belongings, while motorists were advised to promptly report missing number plates.

An Extensive Recovery Operation in 2025

An exceptional operation moved through the lost and found Dubai process in 2025, as the police returned 171,490 lost items to their respective claimants. The authorities recorded a massive 868,110 found items during this period, indicating the levels of operations and efficiency within the system for recovering items.

A High Volume of Reports of Lost Items

Police stations and other authorized drop-off locations around the city received reports from members of the public about their lost property, totaling 159,962. This demonstrates how accessible the service is, considering that reports can be made through shopping centers and Smart Police Stations (SPS).

Advanced Technology Driving Efficiency

The Lost and Found Dubai Department is housed in a highly developed system wherein the missing items are matched with the recovered ones through different reports. With the active guidance of tracing teams, further contacts are made with owners to facilitate the chase with the utmost speed and reliability of processes.

Community Cooperation Plays a Key Role

As Dubai’s lost and found services have been emphasized, community cooperation is generally helpful for success. For example, returned found property enhances the person’s spirit of honesty, responsibility, and communal values.

Customer-Friendly Return Services

Dubai Police has improved its services regarding item retrieval, with options for contacting clients directly and diverse means of collection. Customer satisfaction is hence gained, and trust in Dubai’s lost and found services is fortified.

Reminder on Lost Vehicle Number Plates

After recent rains and weather conditions, Dubai Police have urged motorists to report missing number plates immediately. Reports can be made by calling 901 or visiting the nearest police station, ensuring quick action within the lost and found Dubai system.

Quick Recovery and Delivery Options

In this respect, specialized teams take care of lost number plate cases, informing vehicle owners as soon as the plates are found. In the event that one cannot collect them in person, the plates may be delivered via Emirates Post – further showcasing the flexibility of lost and found Dubai services.

Commitment to Public Safety and Convenience

Dubai Police continuously issue warnings on the proper use of official channels in all matters concerning reporting and submission of lost property. Their proactive approach to lost and found Dubai creates an atmosphere of greater public safety, personal property protection, and a better quality of life in the emirate.
