New UAE Ambassadors Drive Nation’s Diplomatic Mission Globally

July 13, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, accepted the credentials of six new UAE ambassadors at a reception ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan, on July 11, 2025 Abu Dhabi. In a historic diplomatic achievement, further evidencing the UAE’s boundless quest for global cooperation.

These nations include Honduras, Sri Lanka, Slovakia, Ecuador, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. They are a declaration of the UAE’s new global status as well as its bid to create strategic alliances across the globe.

Similarly, upon official reception, the guests such as new UAE ambassadors were welcomed by President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and committed to giving them the UAE’s assistance towards its duty and his desire for successful bilateral diplomatic relations. His Highness promised the state to establish bilateral and fruitful relations with all states on the bases of the international solidarity values, dignity, and common interest.

The six new UAE ambassadors are:

  • Igor Bely, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus
  • Felipe Ribadeneira Molestina, Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador
  • Pavol Panis, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic
  • Arush Vinodhini Cooray, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
  • Rauan Zhumabek, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • Francisco Jose Herrera Alvarado, Non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras

The President also wished the ambassadors good luck and reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment for cooperation in economic, political, educational, and cultural areas in efforts towards sustainable prosperity and cooperation.

The occasion was graced by the UAE’s highest leadership team led by Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; with other highest-level ministers and officials.

New UAE Ambassadors to Foster Stronger Bilateral and Global Relations

New UAE ambassador appointments are a crown jewel for UAE worldwide diplomatic missions. With European, South American, Central Asian, South Asian, and Central American-named diplomats, the UAE is transformed into an international diplomatic hub, an intercultural dialogue intersection, and leadership innovation alliance.

All new UAE ambassadors will be deployed to work together with the view of developing bilateral relations in the sectors of extensive trade, investments, renewable energy, education, innovation, and culture. Their relocation addresses the UAE strategic interest of creating productive international relations in a bid to attain world peace, economic stability, and innovation.
