The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold is literally their huge flex to the competition, and in particular, the Chinese players such as Huawei. Response to Competition in the Market
Samsung is releasing this because they feel pressured-Apple is closing in on them to become the largest phone-maker by 2029, and the Huawei Mate Ultimate Edition with triple-fold was released last September, and it still amazes people, though it is expensive. The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold has one UI 8.0 on Android 16 with full AI integration and can switch on Samsung DeX with up to four workspaces. They have assured seven big Android updates, hence you are safe in the long run.
Although foldables already only occupy a few per cent market (it will not even reach 3% until 2027), Samsung is pushing the limit and keeping up with the foldable game with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold.
