Amid the ongoing U.S.–Israel-Iran conflict and rising regional tensions, Dubai witnessed another aerial attack from Iran, highlighting the continued security challenges in the region.
On April 5, the UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed that air defence systems intercepted Iranian missiles and drones over UAE airspace, thus preventing damage. The country reported no fatalities or injuries this time around.
Fresh Threats Intercepted
UAE air defence intercepted a new wave of threats, which comprised 9 ballistic missiles, 1 cruise missile, and 50 UAVs. All these incoming targets were intercepted before they could reach their designated locations.
Safe Outcome in 24 Hours
The authorities confirmed that there were no cases of death or injuries in this incident. The rapid response of UAE air defence in this case manifested in full control over the situation.
Ongoing Defence Operations
Since the first offensive hit the county, the air defence has been putting many missiles and drones under its belt. Continued interceptions only point to one thing: there is a continuing threat, and the country has great defensive capabilities.
Earlier Casualties Reported
In earlier incidents, casualities included an armed forces member on duty and a civilian contractor. Besides, injuries were reported to civilians of various nationalities.

As per the Ministry of Defence, the UAE air defence remains on permanent alert. The country is in great condition to react immediately to any further threats and ensure its security and stability.
