On March 15, UAE Air defences intercepted 4 ballistic missiles and 6 drones. National security remains a major focus as regional tensions grow fierce. Defence capabilities undergo continuous reinforcement throughout this intense period.

Missiles and Drones Intercepted

On March 15, 4 ballistic missiles and 6 drones that came from Iran’s territory were intercepted by UAE Air Defences, as per verified reports. None of the incoming objects reached intended locations because of timely interception. Readiness against airborne dangers was demonstrated through coordinated defensive actions during the incident. Operational status of defence mechanisms has been verified by officials, with UAE Air Defences equipped to respond to shifting threats.

Growing Number of Interceptions Since Start of Attacks

From the beginning of Iran’s attacks, UAE Air Defences units stopped many airborne dangers. Over all 298 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,606 UAVswere intercepted by defensive networks monitoring the airspace of the country. Most responses occurred without public updates or visible escalation markers.

What authorities noted reflects both the size of recent attacks alongside how UAE Air Defences have performed when securing national air boundaries.

Casualties and Injuries Due To Attack

Even with effective interception, some attacks caused deaths. A total of 6 persons died, including citizens from the Emirates, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Though defenses worked at times, loss occurred regardless.

Apart from casualities, 142 individuals were injured, some have mild and some have moderate injuries. Among those impacted are civilians and citizens from different nations — Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian and Swedish.

Defence Ministry Ensures Readiness

Despite calm conditions, readiness levels across UAE air defence units stay at maximum alert. When risks emerge, military response will follow without delay. Protection of territory stands as a constant priority under current directives. National integrity, along with public safety, guides operational decisions each day. Any challenge to these principles meets immediate countermeasures by trained personnel.

Still, officials stressed that protection of national strengths and interests must remain central when adjusting to changes in security conditions.
