August 20, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: UAE cancels second term exams for the school year 2025-2026. The Education Ministry has said that a big change is on the way in the nation’s way of checking how well students are doing. This move aims to cut down stress for students, update how they are judged, and make a more even ground for over one million students who are going back to school this Monday.

In a key move, of UAE cancels second term exams, and the Ministry has said that all-out tests will not happen in the second part of the year. Schools will now use checks that look at how students are doing all through the year. Only the first and third parts of the year will have big tests now, giving schools a better way to see how students are growing.

“This change will make sure help is more tight to each student while letting them work on their own skills and fun activities,” said Mohammed Al Qasim, a big boss in the Ministry of Education. He also said this new plan of UAE Cancels second term exams is for kids from Grade 5 to 12 and fits with the UAE’s big goal of backing new ideas and deep thought.

Education boss Sarah Al Amiri, talking in Dubai, showed that the setup for teaching has gotten much better. The Ministry has built nine new schools for more students. She said the “Back to School” drive will help students grow in school and other areas, too.

Under this new setup, where UAE cancels second term exams, it makes better use of class time, raises teaching quality, and looks at what students can really do in a full way, not under stress.

New School Year Adds AI Study, Health Plans, and Growing Talent

The change of UAE cancels second term exams and doesn’t just stop at tests. In line with the UAE’s look to the future, the Ministry has brought in Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning for all kids from very young to Grade 12. Over 1,000 teachers trained in AI will lead these new classes, keeping in mind how AI is used rightly in school.

“Our AI course is not like other lands. It deals with all school years and cares about using it right,” Al Qasim added. “Tech will stay as help to teachers, not to take their place.”

With more people coming in, the Ministry said 25,000 new students have signed up this school year. More than 800 new teachers are at schools, along with the use of 5,500 school buses, giving out 47,000 laptops, and making more than 10 million books.

The good of students is still key in these changes. The Ministry has begun the Physical Education, Sports, and Health Program, with pro athletes working with kids on fitness, food, and health. This plan wants to make better life ways, fix gym classes, and push future sports stars.

Also, the drive from Skill to Leadership will boost how much students want to do well by bringing in parents and local leaders to school events. The ‘My Inspiring Family’ program will let parents share their work stories with students, while ‘Inspiring People in the Field’ will bring in role models like scientists, sports heroes, and those who start businesses into classes to push for dreams and leading roles.
