Dubai, October 13, 2025: The UAE has come up with a new digital platform that makes it easy to manage UAE Domestic Worker Visa. The platform enables the resident to do online issuance, renewal, and cancellation of visas for their domestic workers. The entire process is now quicker and more convenient as it also allows completing medical tests digitally.

According to government officials, this new system is a terrific move towards smart and efficient services in the UAE. The residents would no longer have to visit government offices and to fill out forms. Rather, they will be able to manage everything via the single digital platform called Work in UAE. The platform assembles the government services and brings them together in one place thus it saves time and offers less paperwork.

The initiative is under the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). It is a commitment of the UAE to build a smarter government through the ambitious Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. A number of government entities will collaborate with each other to guarantee the process is error-free and secure.

Major-General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, stated that the new UAE Domestic Worker Visa system is quicker, safer, and more user-friendly. The system aims to make the experience better for the residents as well as for the government agencies.

Simplified and Unified Visa Process

The freshly introduced domestic worker visa platform in the UAE simplifies the application process. Residents now fill out a standard application form on the platform rather than going through several forms and visiting different offices. They are required to enter their information only once, and it will be applied for all domestic worker visa related services.

The system employs UAE PASS, a digital identification system, for effortless and secure access. This guarantees that the users can use the services in a secure way without having to go to the government offices for personal visit. The residents can upload all the required documents electronically. They can execute contracts and schedule medical examinations over the internet, which completely eradicates the need for face-to-face visits.

Residents benefit from a more hassle-free payment experience through the one payment system. They make one payment for all the services they require, whether it is issuing a new visa, renewing an existing one, or canceling it. This not only lessens the number of transactions but also accelerates the whole process.

Improving Customer Experience and Government Efficiency

The new platform is said to improve customer satisfaction by the officials. According to Khalil Ibrahim Khoori, Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), the platform is the result of a very good collaboration of the government sector. The whole process of the UAE government in the digital transformation direction is hence being confirmed.

The elimination of the in-person presence requirement not only enhances safety but also brings about a reduction in the amount of time people wait. Additionally, the system employs tools for secure data exchange such as UAE PASS and the Government Services Bus (GSB). Thus, these tools not only allow but also ensure the security of sharing data between authorities, thus cutting down on paperwork and administrative delays.

The Work Bundle platform gives residents the chance to take care of their domestic worker visa matters whenever and wherever they want. They will be able to with no trouble check their application status, send in new requests, or renew through online submission. The purpose of this new online service is to eliminate the need for government offices to interact with residents more and at the same time increase their overall efficiency.

To sum up, the UAE’s introduction of digital platform for UAE Domestic Worker Visa is nothing but a great achievement. It not only fastens but also makes the whole process of issuing, renewing and replacing visas safer and more friendly to the users. The residents are then given the opportunity to execute all the related transactions electronically thus freeing them the burden of time and effort.

Moreover, this is the point where the UAE’s dedication to the development of a smart government becomes evident. The integrated digital services that the UAE provides are designed to make life easier for the residents and to support the country’s vision of being technologically advanced. The new UAE domestic worker visa system is a perfect illustration of the government changing its service delivery through digital transformation.
