Teaching Professionals
Education is an integral part of an economy, as it shapes the future for the upcoming youth, the upcoming professional leaders of a country. The UAE understands the importance of the educational sector and is therefore constantly coming up with new ideas to uplift the same. A 10-year UAE Golden Visa is provided for private education professionals living in the UAE.

This decision was announced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority. This visa is open to any educational professional at childhood centres, schools, and universities for those who have shown academic excellence and raised the education standards in the country.
Ras Al Khaimah has also introduced a similar visa for teachers, principals, and senior private school staff, supported by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge.
New categories of professionals
As unconventional as it may be, the government is seeing the upcoming professions and is keen on working on them. The government sees the potential of such upcoming skills as professional online gaming, content creation, and influencers. Professionals in the field of creativity, like content creators, filmmakers, social media influencers, and gaming experts, can also apply for this visa. This category’s acceptance was launched during the 1 billion followers summit in January of this year and is overseen by The Creators HQ. The applicants do not need a sponsor & can apply online.

The UAE Golden Visa for gaming experts or e-sports professionals has been introduced as a part of the Dubai Programme for Gaming 2033. Specifications for the same are that the applicants must be 25 and above in age and must receive accreditation from Dubai Culture. Abu Dhabi also provides a similar visa, but through the Department of Culture and Tourism’s gaming initiative.
Long-Term Visas for yacht owners
A special category has been rolled out for the yacht owners. Abu Dhabi has run this category under the Abu Dhabi Golden Quay initiative, offering long-term visas to yacht owners. To be an applicant, one must own a private yacht with a length of at least 40 meters.
This category is also open to executives, stakeholders, owners, agents, manufacturers, and even insurers in the yacht-related businesses. Family sponsorship is included. This is anticipated to stimulate growing yacht services, luxury tourism, and high-end waterfront development.
