Under the new rule, popularly known as the UAE New Education Rule, students in both public and private schools will be allowed to choose and study the subjects of their choice freely. Cycle 3 (higher grades) in public and private schools that adopt the Ministry’s curriculum by the academic year 2025-2026 will be marked by the UAE New Education Law, which has assigned new categories to educational streams.
