June 14, 2025, Abu Dhabi, UAE– The scientists of Abu Dhabi have come up with a way to Rapid Disease Detection in UAE. This new device is called the RCP-Chip. A new option for disease diagnosis has arisen with the RCP-Chip in the UAE. Tests can be done and results given within 10 minutes. The device is easy to operate and does not require special laboratory equipment. Therefore, testing outside labs is now possible, anywhere.

This tool has been developed by the team that is located at New York University Abu Dhabi. They were striving to assist individuals living in under-resourced regions. Their aim was for the RCP-Chip to facilitate Rapid Disease Detection in UAE with ease and speed. The RCP-Chip is saliva-based, not swab-based. It is portable and can be sent anywhere at short notice, keeping lab-free detection accessible to everyone..

How the RCP-Chip Works?

The RCP-Chip combines a minute quantity of saliva with some chemicals. The apparatus has a special paper inside. This paper truly helps indicate the presence of a disease. The whole process is very simple: Anyone could do it. Just the application of less heat is needed. This heat might come from a hot plate or an oven. Such articles are common in almost all places. The RCP-Chip is portable and, of course, inexpensive to synthesize.

The scientists say Rapid Disease Detection in UAE is now faster than ever. The RCP-Chip can test for many diseases. It started with COVID-19. Now, it can find other viruses and bacteria. These include chickenpox, dengue, and malaria. The team says the RCP-Chip can be changed easily. This means lab-free testing can help with more diseases in the future.

Impact on Outbreak Response

The RCP-Chip is going to revolutionize how we fight diseases. It allows doctors to treat sick people at the earliest. This means the RCP-Chip provides not just fast diagnosis but also containment of any disease. Any outbreak can now be swiftly handled with Rapid Disease Detection in UAE. The RCP-Chip serves the interests of remote areas well. It is also quite handy where there are a lot of people. Lab-free testing means no big machines or experts are necessary.

A patent application has been filed for the RCP-Chip. A company has been started for its sale. Several biotech companies show interest. The scientists want to find an investor to help them produce more devices. Their vision is to make Rapid Disease Detection in UAE available to all. The RCP-Chip finds varied uses- it can even test for hormones and other substances.

It took two years for it to come into being. The scientists were met with many obstacles. Working in labs became increasingly difficult as the pandemic started; nevertheless, they persevered. Now, the device is just about ready to be marketed. This is an enormous leap towards health. Lab-free tests will save so many lives. The RCP-Chip is quite easy to use. It is fast and reliable. With the RCP-Chip, Rapid Disease Detection in UAE is a reality for all now.

The scientists say they are proud of their work. They see the RCP-Chip as a practical solution to help a lot of people. The device itself is simple and convenient. Lab-free testing with the RCP-Chip is, therefore, a rather significant health win. Now, Rapid Disease Detection in UAE will be easier than ever before. The team is hoping that the RCP-Chip will soon be used worldwide.
