July 18, 2025 | Dubai, UAE – AI Content Detect System, “Human – Machine Collaboration Icon,” becomes the world’s first programme that will be able to accurately differentiate between the content created by humans and that created by AI.

Development And Launch of The New AI Content Detection System

The launch of ‘Human-Machine Collaboration Icons’ was approved on July 16. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, made the following announcement, launching the ‘Human-Machine Collaboration Icons.’ He also urged the city’s government entities to start adopting the system during AI Content Detection for their research and knowledge-based tasks.

“Developed by Dubai Future, the icons reflect Dubai’s commitment to open, responsible, and future-ready innovation, and serve as a new global benchmark in the age of AI. We invite researchers, creators, and institutions worldwide to adopt this system as a new norm for clarity and credibility,” said the Crown Prince.

Human Machine Collaboration, the cutting-edge AI content detection technology, was developed by Dubai Future. The icon stands as a comprehensive classification framework that will bring clarity and transparency to creative scientific, academic, and intellectual content. The advanced ai content detection technology of the system easily provides an acute differentiation between material created by humans or artificial intelligence through all phases of research, production and publication.

The foundation of the technology is built by five main icons that detect different levels of AI involvement for the content creation. To provide more details, the system provides nine comprehensive details sub – categories that specify exactly which part of the creation was contributed by artificial intelligence, in ideation, development, editing, or if it was used in the final output, assuring accountability and clear attribution.

Detecting Various Degrees Of AI Involvement

The AI content detection classification sees intelligent machines as a broad spectrum of digital technologies, including automation systems, algorithms, generative AI, robotics among other such tech-driven tools. These systems are related to their role related to research, creation, or content development tasks.

Listed below are 5 core icons of human-machine collaboration that identify the degree of machine involvement in any piece of work.

  1. All Human: The content is created entirely by a human, with zero input or assistance from any machine or AI technology. There is no degree of AI involvement.
  2. Human-Led: The human is the primary creator, but artificial intelligence is used for light support like correcting grammar, verifying facts, or enhancing clarity.
  3. Machine-Assisted: The content is made through a collaborative process, where humans and machines actively work throughout to shape the result.
  4. Machine-Led: The machine does the major work, leading the process of the content. Human steps in for quality and accuracy checking.
  5. All Machine: The output is entirely generated by machines, where human contribution is not involved at all in the process from input till results.

For further comprehension and accuracy, the system includes nine functional sub-icons that will specify the part where human-machine collaboration took place in the process. These include:

  1. Ideation will include concept development
  2. Literature Review, such as summarising of existing literature
  3. Collection of raw data or content
  4. Processing and analysing the data
  5. Drawing conclusions from analysis of data
  6. Writing tasks such as Drafts, edits, or generation of content
  7. Translating content across languages
  8. Visuals help from machine by Creating graphics or illustrations
  9. Designing help like creating Layout, or interface

This icon system is made to be flexible and judgment-based. Although it cannot measure machine input to provide percentages or strict formulas, it still encourages creators across all productive sectors to be transparent about the degrees of involvement by the intelligent technologies. Whether it is a publication, research, an advertisement, or a short film, the AI content detection mechanism of Human-Machine Collaboration will give a clear overview of the contributions made by each entity, hence not misleading the audience.
