Moldova is betting big on this year’s Business Week to transform its economy through meaningful global partnerships that are based on strategic give and take and a solid new investment framework that underscores the country’s growing ambition.

Aug 29, 2025, Moldova: From 15 to 19 September, Chișinău and other regional centres will host the tenth edition of Moldova Business Week, the country’s flagship economic forum organised by Invest Moldova Agency. Under the banner “Moldova is Open for Business,” the event will welcome global investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs and innovators to explore opportunities across industries while confronting some of the region’s most pressing economic challenges.

The week will open on 15 September at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel with a festive ceremony attended by Moldova’s Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalisation Doina Nistor, and Invest Moldova Director Natalia Bejan. The first day will spotlight “Successful Investment and Export Stories,” followed by the unveiling of the Moldova Investment Map and the highly anticipated launch of the country’s Stock Exchange, a milestone in Moldova’s capital market development.

Over the following days, the agenda expands into specialised forums and study visits. The Real Estate Forum and an AML and Compliance Conference will address the evolving regulatory and property landscape, while agrifood visits will highlight Moldova’s agricultural strengths. Start-ups and technology innovators will converge for a Startup Corporate Demo Day and the Embedded Moldova Conference, signalling the country’s growing appetite for digital transformation.

One of the biggest highlights of the week will be Moldova’s commitment as a partner in Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction after its debilitating war with Russia. The session which will be held on 18th of September, focuses on positioning Moldova as a regional logistics hub and a trusted contributor to Europe’s resilience.

As the week closes, emphasis will shift to the PowerUp Moldova platform and initiatives designed to attract investment funding, underscoring the country’s commitment to long-term economic reform and global integration.

Moldova Business Week 2025 is set not only to demonstrate the nation’s progress but also to highlight its readiness for deeper international collaboration at a critical juncture for the region.
