Emirates Airlines has officially announced plans to build a major residential community in Dubai. The new project aims to support staff well-being and future growth. The New Emirates Village will be a place where cabin crew can live, relax, and grow together.

A New Home for Cabin Crew

Emirates signed a deal with Dubai Investments Park (DIP) to secure land for the New Emirates Village. This development will offer a safe, modern place for cabin crew to live.

The New Emirates Village will include:

  • Space for up to 12,000 cabin crew members to live comfortably.
  • 20 residential buildings with 19 floors each.
  • Mixed apartments, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom homes.
  • A multi-purpose hub with shops and restaurants.
  • Fitness areas, clinics, parks, and outdoor spaces.

The design of New Emirates Village aims to make life easier for crew members. It will help them enjoy everyday life while staying close to work and friends.

Construction and Future Benefits

Construction of the New Emirates Village is planned to start in the second quarter of 2026. The first phase of the project is expected to finish by 2029. This project will be more than a place to live. It will be a full community. People can work, relax, shop, and spend time outdoors.

The village is located between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). This makes it easy for crew to travel for work.

  • Groundbreaking: Second quarter of 2026
  • Completion (first phase): 2029
  • Housing capacity: 12,000 people
  • Residential buildings: 20 towers

The leaders of the Emirates have declared that the New Emirates Village reflects the care of the airline for its employees. They mentioned that the crew is the main reason for the success of the airline, and this village will be a great support in terms of living and working for them. The representatives of Dubai Investments Park did not forget to compliment the partnership as well. They stated that the project would be a stepping stone in turning Dubai into a better place for business and community life.

New Emirates Village is not just among the big ones, it is also a great example of how airlines are continuing to invest in the real communities for staff. The project goes beyond just a housing provision. It, in fact, generates an area where the cabin crew can live, unwind, and think about their future. In addition, the village will play a role in Emirates maintaining its strong global team. It would allow the crew members to be living comfortably while serving and connecting with the travelers all over the world.
