Early morning, on Monday brought flight interruptions due to an unauthorized drone sighting close to Dubai International Airport. Safety Measures by Emirates

After the DXB drone incident, Emirates reflected safeguarding passengers and staff continues to be central. Operations will stay suspended during evaluations by officials tasked with reviewing conditions and returning services to standard function. Those planning travel should observe updates released through authorized channels prior to arriving at the terminal.

Fire Reported Near Airport Fuel Tank

DXB drone incident affected and caused fire at one of the airport’s fuel tanks, as stated by the Dubai Media Office. Just after the incident, emergency teams arrived without delay, bringing the situation under control. It was later verified by authorities that all individuals remained unharmed during the DXB drone incident. The response prevented further escalation throughout the operation.

Flights Redirected to Al Maktoum Airport

In order to prevent further difficulties after the DXB drone incident, certain arriving aircraft landed at Al Maktoum International Airport instead. With inspections underway, Dubai’s main airport paused activity briefly under official guidance after the incident. Procedures will resume once evaluations confirm operational readiness.
