The Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, visited the President of the State, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi, where the bilateral relations were discussed, and the current situation in the region was addressed.

The summit was aimed at harmonization to increase the coordination with respect to the concerns of common interest, as the powers claim, too.

Focus on cooperation and regional stability

The two parties discussed the possibility of connecting the relationships in major spheres, such as the economic and development spheres.

The authorities indicated that the talks were also concerned with regional issues, but were specifically focusing on enhancing stability and assisting in seeking ways of curbing conflicts.
