Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1 Unveils Iconic New Venue

Organizers of the Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1 have announced plans for a historic pop-up padel court at Dubai Opera Garden.

The court, which was officially launched during the official opening of the tournament on November 8, will host professional stars and the public for the 2026 edition.

The court embodies a shared vision between organizers of the tournament and title partner, Emaar, to combine world-class sporting competition with one of the world’s most iconic sights.

Custom-Built Court Combines Modern Engineering with Panoramic City Views

The pop-up facility features state-of-the-art panoramic glass, specialist high-friction grass, and acoustic sound systems. Pop-up seating ensures great viewing of the fast-paced action on court and views of the downtown skyline.

The facility has been designed by event engineers to ensure a professional playing surface while maintaining the lush green space of the garden.

World-Class Action Set for Hamdan Sports Complex

Following the opening ceremony at Dubai Opera Garden, the main highlight of the eight-day tournament will be held at Hamdan Sports Complex. The indoor sports facility will be the venue for some high-quality men’s and women’s pro events throughout the month until November 15th, where players will play for official world ranking points and big prize money.

This event, which falls under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council—continues to show how Dubai is becoming a strong name within the global padel scene.

Top-Ranked Global Padel Stars Confirmed to Compete

Many of the world’s best male and female players will be competing in the event. International stars like Agustín Tapia, Fede Chingotto, Ale Galán, Delfi Brea, and Bea González are confirmed to compete.

With tickets starting from just AED45, thousands of local fans are expected to flock to the event to watch the week of sporting action.

Behind the court, technical areas include impact-absorbing subflooring and LED lighting with no glare for playing at night.

VIP viewing areas, commentary areas for media, and interactive brand activation areas are included without impacting the footfall for those using the venue.

Architects highlighted that the integration of temporary sports facilities with famous landmarks is becoming increasingly popular within the sports tourism industry.

Wildcard Entries Give UAE Athletes Premier Stage Against World’s Best

The tournament offers valuable wild card spots for the best UAE and Gulf players against top-level international players.

There will be youth coaching sessions at local academies during the week with international professionals.

“This is very beneficial for Dubai, as it gives local players inspiration from some of the top international events coming into the city,” organizers said.
