UAE February 9th, 2026: The President of the United Arab Emirates and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt held talks on the bilateral ties strengthening and further cooperation on the primary regional and global issues. Consultation had taken place at the moment when the Egyptian President made a fraternal visit to the UAE that is why the relations between the two countries are so strong.

There is also the emphasis of the talks on the fact that both countries are eager to make sure that the level of coordination and unceasing contact are guaranteed especially concerning the evolving parameters in the region. Both leaders reiterated the fact that bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt are a component of stability in the Arab region.

Survey Of Bilateral Ties And Strategic Partnership 

At the meeting, the two presidents engaged in a thorough analysis of bilateral ties, paying attention to the possibilities of developing cooperation in all spheres of politics, economy, development, and strategy. They have placed importance on the common vision of the two nations to improve collaboration in a manner that fosters national development agenda and encourages sustainable development.

According to the leaders, good bilateral ties have allowed the UAE and Egypt to cooperate in carrying out joint projects that can benefit their citizens. They further emphasized the need to develop on top of the partnerships that have been established and also venture into new fields of partnership.

Economic cooperation was a major component of the talks with both parties recognizing the contribution of trade, investment and development initiatives towards enhancing bilateral ties. The presidents observed that economic integration helps in making regions prosper and more resilient to global economic shocks. They restated their intentions to promote an environment that will facilitate investment and that will promote long-term economic cooperation between the two nations.

Regional And International Issues Discussion 

Major regional and international developments were also discussed during the meeting, and the situation in the Middle East was given the priority. The two leaders shared ideas on contemporary issues and emphasized joint Arab action to maintain regional security and stability. They settled that close bilateral ties would create an opportunity to have better coordination of regional affairs and help in coming up with a unified stand on regional issues that may impact the greater Arab world.

The major part of the discussion was devoted to the Gaza Strip developments. The leaders emphasized that it is necessary to continue the ceasefire and provide the delivery of immediate humanitarian aid to people who are caught in the middle of the conflict. Both presidents stressed that humanitarian response is a moral obligation and an important part of a more extensive response that is to decrease suffering and create a stable situation. Close coordination based on good bilateral ties was pointed out as a key to the realization of these goals.

The UAE and Egyptian presidents renewed their unanimity in the purpose of attaining a comprehensive and fair peace in the region. They stressed that the advancement of peace should be anchored on internationally acclaimed principles and resolutions. The main focus of their discussion was the reaffirmation to support the two-state solution as the pathway to long-term peace. The leaders emphasized that long-term efforts supported by effective bilateral ties and regional collaboration are required to promote peace and security to everybody.

The presidents mentioned that the collaboration between the UAE and Egypt is crucial to the establishment of the stability of the region. They repeated the fact that bilateral ties are not just useful to both countries but they are also helping in the development and conflict settlement in the whole region and the world at large.

Visit Highlights And Cultural Exchange

During the trip, the Egyptian President paid a visit to the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial intelligence in Abu Dhabi. He was oriented on the university academic programmes, research projects as well as its contribution towards innovation and emerging technologies. This visit revealed how both countries value education, technology and innovation as a future source of cooperation. This type of exchange also helps to enhance bilateral ties and create new opportunities in the sphere of collaboration in sophisticated areas.

The Egyptian President also said goodbye at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi at the end of the visit. The farewell was the most successful one as it strengthened the priorities that were shared and emphasized the power of bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt.

Both leaders were sure that the further development of bilateral ties would be supported by further dialog and coordination in the future. It was decided that the UAE-Egypt relations could be a good example of Arab cooperation, as the relations are based on mutual respect, the interests and long-lasting bilateral relations.
