Riddley gives the motivation of the sea setting of Abu Dhabi as the inspiration of the team, “Abu Dhabi is a city on the water, and so we’re really excited about being able to incorporate water for the first time in the design of one of our castles,” he added. This new element is just one of the many ways Disney’s creative team is embracing the UAE’s culture and geography in their designs for the park.
