The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has published the new operational hours for the Dubai Metro Eid Al Fitr hours because the UAE will soon celebrate the end of Ramadan. The city will experience an increased flow of people because the public holiday will last from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 22, 2026, which leads to the need for extended operating hours.
Dubai Metro Eid Al Fitr Hours (Red and Green Lines)
The Dubai Metro will extend its operating times through the holiday peak period because it needs to maintain service during the entire time of holiday activities.

- Wednesday, March 18 to Saturday, March 21: 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM (the following day)
- Sunday, March 22: 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM (the following day)
The extension provides additional nighttime service hour because the service operates one extra hour at night which helps people who attend late-night Eid events and fireworks shows.
Dubai Tram Timings

The Dubai Tram will operate on a special schedule to handle the increased number of people who will visit the Marina and Palm Jumeirah regions.
- The operating hours for the period from Wednesday, March 18, to Saturday, March 21, will be 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM the next day.
- The operating hours for Sunday, March 22 will be from 9:00 AM until 1:00 AM the following day.
Intercity Bus and Marine Transport Updates
The changes to intercity routes will create major difficulties for commuters who travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The Bus Route E100 will suspend operations between Al Ghubaiba and Abu Dhabi from Wednesday, March 18, until Sunday, March 22, at noon. The E101 service will continue to maintain its operations from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi.
The S’Hail app provides passengers with real-time trip planning for water transport services, which include Water Taxis Abras and the Dubai Ferry, and for specific local bus feeder routes.
