The morning and evening traffic will be severely affected by the exit from the Sharjah-Dubai highway. Many residents travel daily between two Emirates for work, school, and business. With the closure, long queues and crowds are expected on the surrounding roads.

Another option for motorists is Emirates Road, which connects Sharjah to Dubai through several interchanges. Traffic officers will place additional signboards with these variations to guide motorists.
