Dubai, 02 May 2025 – His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, opened the latest edition of the Global Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX 2025) this morning at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, acknowledged as the UAE’s most frequented education and training exhibition this year, acts as a premier platform for education and career advancement, uniting local and global educational institutions. The exhibition will run through May 2.

Addressing the audience, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan remarked that GETEX 2025, in its 41st edition, still holds a leading position in enabling students to influence their educational and career paths. He stressed that the exhibition represents the UAE’s goal of investing in human resources, encouraging lifelong education, and creating a progressive learning atmosphere that corresponds with global changes in education and contemporary technologies.

He remarked: “We are delighted to see the extensive range of academic and career opportunities presented at this year’s exhibition, featuring traditional fields, applied studies, and innovative pathways that correspond with the changing job market. This indicates the UAE’s rising position as an international education center, fueled by adaptable policies, top-notch academic institutions, and a robust dedication to innovation and progress.

His Excellency additionally remarked that these initiatives align with the UAE’s national agenda, guided by the leadership and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to foster a knowledge-based society and prepare future generations with the skills needed for tomorrow. He stated that the UAE—its leadership and citizens—continues to be dedicated to promoting education and equipping a generation that can drive national development and benefit humanity through expertise and skill.

He added: “We greatly value the work put into arranging this important exhibition and hope it will inspire all young individuals aiming for greatness in a constantly evolving world.”

GETEX 2025, taking place over three days, provides thousands of students and parents the chance to engage with representatives from more than 30 nations. Participants can obtain comprehensive details regarding universities and programs, access career guidance, investigate global education locations and student visa stipulations, and even apply for university enrollment immediately.

Given significant shifts in global education policies—especially the stricter international student visa rules in conventional locations like the UK, US, Australia, and Canada—GETEX emphasizes alternative educational options in Europe, CIS nations, Malaysia, India, and Pakistan. The occasion presents a diverse blend of traditional, alternative, and forward-thinking academic programs.

The UAE is becoming a significant beneficiary of this worldwide transition, due to its adaptable university admission practices, globally-recognized quality benchmarks, advanced tech incorporation in public and private sectors, remarkable public safety reputation, and superior global connectivity—factors that enhance its appeal for international students.

Currently in its 41st edition, GETEX 2025 stands as the oldest and most significant exhibition focused on education in the area. Throughout the years, it has effectively adjusted to the changing global education environment, allowing students to choose wisely regarding their academic and career paths.

GETEX 2025 will take place from April 30 to May 2 in Zabeel Hall 6 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Admission is without cost.

Hosted by International Conferences & Exhibitions (IC&E), GETEX 2025 has served as the region’s leading education exhibition for more than forty years. It links students with leading international and local educational institutions, providing authentic, practical learning experiences and valuable knowledge-building chances.
