Controlled Road Closures To Avoid Congestion
The road blocks in the areas around large events will start at 4 pm New Year’s Eve and will increase progressively up until 11 pm to avoid congestion and security of the people. The new year’s eve safety measures will also increase the level of pedestrian safety in dealing with large crowds during the events.
Measures Of Coordinated Management And Support
To accommodate the long-haul transport, over 5,500 RTA workers will be on the field, as well as ten control centres and 26 traffic diversion cars will be located at priority points.
