Race Start and Finish

All races at the Dubai Marathon 2026 begin near Umm Suqeim Road, close to Madinat Jumeirah, and finish at the Dubai Police Academy. This route provides a festive atmosphere as runners and spectators gather in familiar spots across the city.

Race Day Timings

The marathon day schedule includes staggered race starts to keep the event organized and safe:

  • Marathon Elite: Early morning, around 6:00 am.
  • Marathon Masses: Around 7:00 am.
  • 10km Road Race: Around 8:15 am.
  • 4km Fun Run: Around 10:30 am.

Extended Metro Hours for Marathon Day

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) extended its metro service hours for race day to assist both participants and spectators. The metro system will begin its operations earlier than usual and continue running operations until later than its standard operating hours. The system enables runners and their guests to reach their destinations without facing traffic interruptions.
