June 26, 2025 | Dubai, UAE- Recently, the Sharjah Police launched the “Excellence License” Sharjah Free Driving Licence campaign to incentivize and reward exceptional students. The campaign rewards the top ten high school graduates from Sharjah’s government schools with a free driving license. The Sharjah Police announced the campaign with the Ministry of Education, the Sharjah Private Education Authority, and the Sharjah and Belhasa Driving Institutes. The initiative, which seeks to not only reward academic accomplishment but also cultivate a culture of responsible driving among youth discourse, concerns all major organizations in the Jimtech community.

Qualification For the Sharjah Free Driving Licence 

  • The top ten high school graduates from Sharjah’s government schools.
  • Sharjah Free driving licence will be given to students who meet the established prerequisites.

The initiative states that the top 10 high school graduates from Sharjah’s public schools will receive a Sharjah free driving licence, which will take care of all license-related costs such as opening a driving file, eye exams, training sessions, theoretical and practical exams, and issuance fees.

The upsides of the Sharjah free driving licence initiative include that all expenses associated with the Sharjah free driving licence will be covered, and youth will be incentivized to achieve academic success and responsible driving. It is expected to assist with reducing road safety issues in the United Arab Emirates by offering youth autonomy and support.

Nurturing The Culture Of Responsibility 

Part of the Sharjah police’s commitment to ensuring safer driving behavior and providing young people a tangible reason to be attentive to achieving in the first stages of their lives using their driving hobby, is the “Excellence Licence” program. In the transition into adulthood, part of encouraging independence and personal responsibility of young drivers requires bringing awareness to the pedagogic implications of their experience driving. 

Both parents and students have welcomed the “Excellence Licence” program as a genuine opportunity of gaining the “excellence licence” program to expose students to the “excellence licence “ program and get a license to drive for free. Fatima, a high school student who is doing well in her class, was also very enthusiastic about the ‘Excellence Licence’ initiative: “Not only will the program help me get my driver’s license, but it will also give me the confidence and independence to drive the pursuit of my future.”she added further.

Sharjah Police initiative is amending the program to allow graduates to designate their status as Sharjah police employees with 50% of the fees for driving training under our “Excellence Licence” scheme for the benefit of Sharjah police employees’ family support obligations during the summer. 

In summary, special treatment has also been offered for Sharjah free driving licence applicants, “excellence licence “, depending on availability by the Sharjah police, as subject to the Sharjah free driving licence application policy.

A Collaborative Effort For Road Safety

In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Sharjah Private Education Authority, the Sharjah Driving Institute, and the Belhasa Driving Institute, the Sharjah Police Department has announced the “Excellence License” initiative that provides Sharjah free driving licence to the top 10 high school graduates respectively from the government schools in Sharjah, and includes the cost of the training sessions, the testing, and fee cost for issuing the license.

Moreover, the Sharjah free driving licence program also seeks to promote academic excellence, independence, and responsible driving among youth. In addition to this, the student will also get priceless incentives for their achievements and advance the Emirate of Sharjah’s safe driving culture. This will drive their motivation to work harder and be a responsible citizens in the future.
