1. Jeddah Tower

One of the tallest towers is anticipated to stand tall at approximately 1000 meters; this construction project will be built in Jeddah itself. It is a project in the first construction phase of the Kingdom City, Jeddah Economic Company. The tower is designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill architecture, who are the same brains that were behind the Burj Khalifa.

This super tall building is expected to have upto 167 floors, its design is inspired by Saudi Arabia itself with a three-petal footprint and a tapered aerodynamic shape that can withstand wind forces. This tower is reportedly walking towards becoming the tallest building, globally. Its is said to get completed by 2028.

2. Burj Azizi

Another soaring skyscraper, started construction in 2026, halted in 2017, rebranded by Azizi Developments is now set to get completed by 2028. The tower is strategically centred near the Dubai World Trade centre and the Dubai Mall, certainly attracting tons of audiences. It is set to have 131 floors and is expected to have a height of 725 metres.

3. Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences

This super-tall skyscraper is set to become one of the tallest residential buildings in the world, boasting luxurious amenities and designs that will blow your mind. The tower is expected to feature exclusive suites, “sky mansions” and penthouses along with amenities like concierge services, private fitness clubs, sky gardens, and luxurious spas.

Construction of this residence started in October 2022 and is estimated to be completed by 2027. The super-tall buildings under construction in Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. The floor count is anticipated to be 104 floors with an additional 7 basement levels. It is designed by Silverstone Engineering Consultants, along with Granada Europe Construction as the main contractor. It is a collaboration between Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences.

4. Tiger Sky Tower

With a budget of over a billion dollars, the project aims to set several records, some of them being the world’s highest Infinity pool and the world’s highest restaurant with a green rainforest area inside the restaurant. The tower will feature a glazed interior and metallic shaded louvres. It will also have a rooftop park. The construction is expected to be completed by 2029.

5. The Line

The concept for this tower is exceptional; this is a super-tall skyscraper, but it is an exceptionally long one as well. Currently, this super-tall building is under construction & it is planned to be 170 km long, 500 m high, and 200 m wide. The interesting concept of this design consists of two mirrored skyscrapers with an outdoor space in between. This is one of the smartest designs, and as it is a new concept,  the first phase is set to be completed by 2030. It is situated in Tubak, Saudi Arabia.

6. Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina

Located in Dubai, this is a skyscraper that aims to be, again, the tallest residential Tower. The project was initially known as “Pentominium”. Located in Dubai, Mariana’s “tallest block” cluster- It is said to have 122 floors and 251 residences. The expected completion is in 2028, although sales have already started, at an eye-catching Dh5.8 million for a two-bedroom unit. Which is not exceptionally high for the Luxurious amenities offered there.

7.  HeXi Yuzui Tower

With its construction that started in 2021, this is one of the prominent super-tall buildings under construction in China. This tower is poised to become a significant addition to the city’s skyline and is strategically located along the “Yangtze River”. This area is visible as a new central business district, enhancing the city’s urban development (Nanjing). Designed by Adrian Smith & Gordon Gil, this building will not only be the tallest in Nanjing, but also symbolise fast-paced development in the city. This building is said to be completed by 2028.

8. Panda Tower – Tianfu Centre

In the new area of Chengdu, China, A new landmark, which is a super-tall skyscraper designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and inspired by the beauty of the landscapes of Sichuan Province, the building allows an exceptional flow of wind, enhancing environmental efficiency. It is said to read a file, the city’s Skyline, this mixed-use development embodies innovation in architecture as well as sustainable design, and it is expected to be completed by 2027.

9. Senna Tower

Located in Brazil, this is a planned residential skyscraper inspired by the Formula One Driver, “Ayrton Senna”. It is a high-cost building which is expected to be completed around 2030, having a cost of around 545 million dollars.  It is anticipated to have a height of a whopping 1781ft. It is expected to be ready by 2030.

10. Goldin Finance 117

Previously abandoned, the tallest abandoned skyscraper with an anticipated height of around 597m in Tianjin, China, has restarted construction. The tower was abandoned due to a stock market crash in 2015 and has been facing constant challenges since then. Goldin Group has to self-finance the entire project, facing increased pressure from the 2008 financial crisis. Starting construction again, the completion date is set to be 2027.
