September 7, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: Three projects of the tallest middle east skyscrapers as monumental as reaching the sky are coming out faster than a region can react with these ground-breaking designs, which will almost assuredly change the horizons of the area. It is with this that the UAE and Saudi Arabia are embarking on an ambitious plan that involves two new skyscraper concepts challenging not just existing Middle Eastern records but also that of the famous 828 meters taller than Burj Khalifa, the world’s current tallest building.

These developments that break records, going from the ambitious Rise Tower in Riyadh to the coming-back-to-life Jeddah Tower and from Burj Azizi in Dubai, are predicting the future of supertall architecture in the next era.

1. Rise Tower in Riyadh to Become the Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers

Saudi Arabia is about to embark on the building of Rise Tower where it is expected to reach 2000 meters height into the sky – more than twice taller than Burj Khalifa. Foster + Partners, an architectural firm, will be responsible for the design of this 678-floor megastructure, which will be the most audacious entry in the Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers list, and it will be supported by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.

Set within Riyadh’s futuristic North Pole District, the tower will have first-rate residences, office spaces, various luxury hotels, observation decks, entertainment venues, and high-end dining spaces. A five billion-dollar investment has been confirmed by the developers, the construction bidding is going on, and the time of the big day is soon.

After all this will be done, not only is Rise Tower going to be taller than Burj Khalifa but also it is going to set a new standard for urban innovation worldwide, and it will be another testament to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aspirations of building “the city of the future.”

2. Jeddah Tower Is Back on Track to Be One of the Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers

After being idle for many years, Jeddah Tower (previously referred to as Kingdom Tower) has got back to work, and the team hopes to finish the project by 2028. Therefore, by August 2025, the construction of the tower will have reached the 70th floor, and it is already contrary to the concept of a height of 1,000 metres, by going beyond the Buzz Khalifa in height about 180 meters.

On the Jeddah Economic City site, this project will have luxurious homes, offices, a Four Seasons hotel, and the highest observation deck in the world. Apart from being the first and the most prominent among the Tallest Middle East Skyscraper’s, it is also one of the breakthroughs in the urban transformation plan of Saudi Arabia.

It will be the first tower to break the 1-kilometre height barrier in the history of the earth once it is launched, henceforth making Saudi Arabia renowned for reshaping architectural horizons.

3. Burj Azizi will transform the Dubai skyline

The Burj Azizi project, with over 725 metres in the air, is widely expected to be the next landmark in Dubai. However, there are already speculations that it might even go up to 1,000 metres and further. It is being built on Sheikh Zayed Road and is expected to be completed in 2027–2028. The tower will be the second highest in Dubai and one of the Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers.

Azizi Developments is excited to bring to the public the proposals for a new downtown Dubai luxury project. The project is a 1,000-unit residential skyscraper loaded with every amenity you can imagine, including a seven-star hotel, upscale retail spaces, as well as record-breaking amenities like the highest hotel lobby, nightclub, and observation deck. Should the altitude not be 725 metres but gradually it will still overtake the immediate neighborhoods taller than Burj Khalifa and mark Dubai’s architectural eminence worldwide.

Next Era of Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers Powered by Bold Vision

The surprising tallest Middle East Skyscrapers that will be accomplished by these three projects – Rise Tower, Jeddah Tower, and Burj Azizi – are a testament to the gulf states’ continuous leadership, not only in urban planning but in the whole spectrum of innovative work .

While planning to inaugurate these, spectacular, record-breaking edifices by 2028, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, however, have decided to overlook the fact that two of them are going to be officially taller than Burj Khalifa while the other will stand among the Tallest Middle East Skyscrapers never constructed. In sum, they signal a future where architectural ambition knows no bounds.
