A Strong Four-Year Run
Tresind Studio is an established name on this list. The National ranked it 57th on the extended list in 2022. It jumped to 11th in 2023 and was 13th in 2024. This year, it sits at 28th. The Tresind Studio ranking has shown steady improvement and visibility over time.
That level of consistency is rare in an industry where trends shift quickly. It has appeared on the list across multiple years, signaling sustained quality. Keep in mind the focus is on dining excellence, not just novelty. That makes the ranking meaningful for diners and industry watchers.
The Chef Behind It
The restaurant is run by chef Himanshu Saini and the accolades don’t stop there. Tresind Studio has three Michelin stars in the 2026 Dubai guide and placed 3rd on the 2026 MENA 50 Best list. Saini also took home the Chefs’ Choice Award from that list. Tresind Studio’s overall ranking is just one element in a string of accolades for the restaurant.

Who Topped the List?
Asador Etxebarri in Spain came top, Gaggan in Bangkok second, Alchemist in Copenhagen third, Quintonil in Mexico City fourth and Wing in Hong Kong fifth. Having the Tresind Studio entry right up there with those restaurants gives a real indication of the level of the competition. The list is of course a little different this year. It was previously known as The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and the name was changed in September. Maido in Lima, last year’s winner, was not eligible this year.
How the List Works
The Tresind Studio ranking is peer voted by over 1,100 industry experts across 28 regions.
It remains a peer voted list rather than an inspection based guide like Michelin.
Thus, the Tresind Studio ranking reflects what other chefs, critics, and food experts think.
