June 24, 2025: Dubai, UAE- US President Donald Trump has announced a total ceasefire between Israel and Iran. It marks the end of the 12-day war that threatens to be very bad. Trump shared the news on his social media account. He said that the two countries agreed to stop fighting. The Israel-Iran ceasefire will begin in the phases. Iran will stop the first attacks. Israel will follow after 12 hours. Within 24 hours, the war will officially end.

The Israel-Iran ceasefire comes after a rapid fight. Both sides launched missiles on each other. Citizens faced. Many homes and life lost. The conflict began on 13 June. Israel killed the Iranian nuclear goals. The explosions were reported in a main uranium facility. Iran responded with drone attacks. More than 100 drones were sent to Israel. Airplanes were closed throughout the region. Passengers were trapped at airports. World leaders called for calm.

How the Ceasefire Was Reached?

The Israel-Iran ceasefire was brokered by President Donald Trump and his top officials after the days of intensive diplomacy led by the United States. Following an American strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran retaliated by firing missiles at the US military base in Qatar, which established an immediate dialogue to prevent a wider war. Trump spoke directly with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while Vice President JD Vance, State Secretary Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witcoff interacted with the Iranian representatives through both direct and indirect channels.

Qatar acted as a major mediator, and Trump personally thanked Katri Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for his efforts. The deal was announced after a conversation behind about 48 hours, in which Israel agreed to the ceasefire on the condition that Iran would prevent its attacks from a position, which Iran had accepted. The process of ceasefire was phased out: Iran would first stop the operation, followed by Israel 12 hours later, resulting in a complete end of enmity within 24 hours.

This careful time-bound approach gave both sides a place to air the ongoing military functions and helped prevent moving forward. U.S. And to compromise with Qatar’s successful arbitration, the will of both Israel and Iran, it made the ceasefire of Israel-Iran possible.

What Happens Next?

Air defense systems are active in Iran. An anti-aircraft gun was fired after the ceasefire announcement. There has been no major attack since then. Both sides are following the deal.
