December 11, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: With 2025 looming to an end, Sheikh Zayed Festival is preparing to embrace the New Year with what is to be one of the most magnificent events in the UAE and possibly the world. It is going to be spectacular in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi where the spectators will be amazed by the non- stop UAE 62 minutes firework show, the enormous drone show, and the abundant array of cultural activities, which will be electrifying the year 2026.

UAE 62 Minutes Firework Show

The UAE 62 minutes firework show commences at exactly 8:00 PM and will culminate into a crossover at midnight. The central performance will last a whole 62 minutes straight towards the end of the celebrations, a challenging time being ambitious to establish five new records in the Guinness world records.

The fireworks will illuminate the whole Al Wathba skyline with the help of innovative technology of launching and synchronization. The organizers guarantee the spectacular show, a spectacular roll of light and colour that is intended to leave the most experienced fireworks enthusiasts impressed.

The Sky’s The Limit 6,500-Drone Show With World Firsts

The UAE 62 minutes firework show will be supplemented by a high-tech sky ballet, a drone performance of 6,500 drones in one 20-minute sorting. These drones are going to compose the nine massive artistic scenes that will be choreographed as a digital symphony and shown to the world, initially.

The drone show will be closely coordinated with the fireworks and live digital countdown, which will provide a multi-sensory experience. Together, these drones and fireworks are meant to provide a cohesive experience in the eyes of the audience that combines the excitement of high-tech technology and the pleasure of the classic party.

Culture, Heritage And Family More Than Lights

However, it is not only about drones and fireworks. The festival zone will be full of the traditional Emirati performances like Al Ayala, Al Razfa and Al Nadba that involve hundreds of performers. Business troupes shall also perform on stage making the event have a global taste.

Special country pavilions erected in the venue by the attending countries and sponsors will provide culture exhibits, performance, and carnival-like entertainment. Families and young visitors will enjoy special children programmes, theatre performances and a new amusement-park area which will make the festival accessible to both the old and young.

Safety & Logistics: Ready for the Multitude

Since the UAE 62 minutes firework show is very large and the number of individuals is expected to be very high, organizers have drawn solid safety and logistical strategies. There will be several in and out points, broader walking tracks and dedicated field teams to control the inflow of visitors. There is also an enhanced security, medical team and crowd control. Notably, gateways will be shut as soon as the venue is filled to the brim, which will support safety and comfort.

The advice? Get booked long in advance, use official channels to keep up and turn up early in case you would like to enjoy the entire show.

The UAE 62 minutes firework show, which is joined with a drone show that is the biggest in the world, highlights the fact that the UAE is taking the celebrations of New Year Eve to a new level. Being in the shadow of the past spectacles such as that of Burj Khalifa, the show of this year in Al Wathba tries to revolutionize perceptions.

The combination of high-tech innovations, unprecedented ambition and strong cultural foundation makes the celebration more than an occasion; it is a statement. The festival reflects the ability of the UAE to unite traditional and modernity, and presents an extravaganza of the global level, which attracts people not only of the region, but also to other regions.
