Strong air defence response by the UAE intercepts various aerial threats amid regional tensions and reports of casualties.
Continued Aerial Threats
The UAE air defence intercepted a total of 11 ballistic missiles and 27 drones launched from Iran on March 30. It assured that its systems had acted promptly to neutralize incoming threats and prevent further escalation and damage.
Cumulative Interceptions Since Conflict Began
The UAE air defence response has responded to a high volume of aerial threats since the start of the attacks. According to the authorities, 425 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,941 drones has been intercepted — numbers that speak to the scale and persistence of the situation.

Casualties and Human Impact
People have been killed by the attacks, stated Ministry of Defence. 2 members of the armed forces were killed while doing their national duty. A Moroccan civilian contractor employed by the armed forces also lost his life. The total number of people killed has reached to 8, a grim price paid for what has been described as an effective defence.
Injuries Reported Across Severity Levels
Along with the dead, a total of 178 people has been injured. The reported injuries, ranging from minor to moderate and serious-to-severe, reflect the extensive damage wrought by the attacks even with an effective UAE air defence counterattack in use.
