Officials confirmed several disruptions amid rising regional strain; injury counts exceeded 120, mostly mild or moderate in nature.

UAE Air Defences Intercept Missiles on March 10

The Ministry of Defence reported on 10 March that 9 ballistic missiles had been launched toward the UAE. Detection occurred via national UAE air defences designed for such threats. 8 of those projectiles never reached populated areas — each was neutralized mid-flight by interception technology. 1 projectile took a different path entirely; it descended into open water. Authorities confirmed no harm resulted from the incident. The entire sequence unfolded under close military observation.

The response came swiftly, as defensive mechanisms activated upon detection of the hazard — demonstrating how UAE air defences intercept launched objects. Precision was evident when interception units engaged, showing capability under pressure — the system performs without delay once targets appear.

Multiple Drones Detected and Neutralized

Alongside warnings about missiles, officials noted sightings of 35 drones nearing national airspace. Of that number, 26 were stopped by UAE air defences before reaching their target.

Still, reports confirmed 9 drones came down inside national borders. Information about landing sites or resulting harm was not shared straight away by authorities. Yet clarity on impact remained absent in early statements.

Casualties and Injuries Reported

Few lives ended when Iran launched strikes, taking people from different countries — among them people from the Emirates, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Officials stated reviews continue, alongside aid being provided to those left behind.

Injuries ranging from mild to moderate have affected 122 people due to the incidents. Coming from different backgrounds, the injured include citizens of the Emirates, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, and Palestine. Though severity varies, medical reports confirm no critical conditions among those people who are listed.

National representation spans across West Asia, South Asia, East Africa, and parts of Central Asia. Each case is being monitored under standard health protocols following such events.

Total Interceptions Since Start of Attacks

Official data from the Ministry of Defence indicates 262 ballistic missiles were detected since the attacks began, with UAE air defences responding to repeated launches described by officials as persistent aggression originating from Iran. Detection began at the onset of heightened regional tensions.

Although figures are still being assessed, every occurrence was captured using automated detection systems. Launch rates have varied during the past several months. Despite difficulties in operations, observation activities proceed without pause.

Among the missiles, 241 were intercepted and destroyed by UAE air defences. 19 dropped into the ocean instead, while 2 made impact within national borders according to official reports.

Large Number of Drones Neutralized

Starting with a count, officials noted detection of 1,475 Iranian drones since the onset of the attacks. Of these, interception by UAE air defences accounted for 1,385 units. 90 drones reached the ground inside national borders, according to official figures.

A total of 8 cruise missiles also appeared on radar before interception, their paths cut short by active defense systems. This outcome reflects persistent measures taken to secure national air boundaries when conflicts nearby persist.
