UAE February 25th, 2026: The local authorities of the UAE have instructed to pull three health supplements and one medical product out of the local market because of safety and regulation reasons. The Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) affirmed that the affected health supplements were either illegal to sell or have ingredients which are not acceptable according to the approved standards.
The action indicates that the country is very strict in regulating medicines and health supplements in order to safeguard the wellbeing of the people.
List Of Withdrawn Health Supplements And The Medical Product
- Rosabella Moringa Capsules
Rosabella Moringa pills were identified to be unlicensed to be imported and sold in the UAE. The officials observed that the health supplement was circulating largely via online marketing affecting the quality control and regulatory standards.
Authorities emphasized that the consumer should not buy uncertified health supplements, particularly in non-official online shopping.
- Wound Vite by ZEN Nutrients
The recovery-oriented health supplement, Wound Vite, was recalled, following warnings of non-approved novel ingredients. The regulators cautioned that health supplements containing substances that have not been approved could have unknown health effects.
- Super Immune+
The Super Immune+ was also pulled out of the market following the investigations carried out that found unauthorized ingredients. The EDE restated that health supplements should be duly registered and vetted in terms of safety prior to distribution in the UAE.
Besides the health supplements, the authorities recalled some batches of a medical product referred to as Isotonac-4 because of the quality flaws. The abnormal particulate matter was detected in test batches, and this action was taken immediately. Medical practitioners and suppliers have been advised to stop distribution and quarantine the affected inventory.

Consumer Medication And Health Supplements Advice
The Emirates Drug Establishment encouraged the residents to discontinue consumption of the recalled supplements and the implicated medical product. Customers are urged to ensure that medicines and health supplements they are buying are authentic and registered.
Pharmacies and retailers have also been instructed to make sure that only the approved health supplements and medicines are sold in their stores. Officials have recommended to the consumers who might have bought the recalled products to:
- Discontinue the use of the product.
- Return the product through the contact details of retailer or distributor.
- Consult a physician in case they report abnormal symptoms.
The officials stressed that the timely response to safety issues is one of the means to avoid greater risks to the population’s health, as well as to preserve trust in the healthcare regulatory system of the UAE.
Enhancing Surveillance Of Health Supplements In The UAE
The most recent pullouts emphasize the fact that the UAE remains dedicated to the regulation of medicines and health supplements as a way to keep people safe. The government stressed that regular checks, international cooperation, and quick reaction steps are the keys to ensuring the credibility of the healthcare system of this country. Authorities once again confirmed that health supplements will be closely monitored to avoid un-approved or even harmful products reaching the consumers. The Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) is the federal authority that issued the recalls and regulated drugs and medical equipment in the UAE.
The authority said that the concerned products either:
- Included ingredients that were not authorized to be used in the UAE.
- Did not have official registration.
- Posed contamination risks
- Could not satisfy quality standards.
The EDE emphasized that the primary concern it had was to protect the health of the people and that as soon as the safety issue was proven, an action was taken promptly. Pharmacies and online sellers were ordered to withdraw the products at once off the shelves and stop advertising or selling them. The regulator also cautioned against the purchase of unregistered supplements over non-official online stores.
