August 3, 2025 | Dubai, UAE: The UAE is experiencing a very hot summer, with temperatures reaching very high levels all over the place. In Sweihan, Al Ain, it hit a high of 51.8°C on a Friday at 3 p.m., making it one of the hottest days in UAE temperature this year, says the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

As the heat grows stronger, the UAE’s leaders are telling people to stay out of the sun and take care to stay safe. The big city areas, like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, are feeling this heat too, with no sign of it getting cooler soon in UAE temperatures.

In Dubai, temperatures rose to 44°C today under skies with little clouds. Even if there are few clouds, it’s still super hot and dry. It’s going to be a hot night as the temp is near 35 °C. In Abu Dhabi, it gets very hot, hitting 46 °C at its peak and 34 °C when dark in UAE temperature. Folks there wish others would step outside only at night since it’s too hot and always bright.

Local Rain Might Happen as UAE Temperature Stays Rough

While it’s very sunny in most places, the NCM thinks some eastern and southern areas might get a bit of rain. They say clouds could form there and maybe bring light rain, especially around Al Ain and some mountain and southern regions.

The western coasts and inner areas might get more humid tonight till Sunday morning. With more moisture and high temperatures, fog or mist could form, mostly in low desert spots. Winds will mostly be light but may get stronger at times, blowing dust over roads and wide spots. Even with this heatwave, the sea around the UAE stays calm.

The rise in UAE temperature has made health groups across the UAE give new warnings. People working outside, like in the building or driving sectors, could get sick from the heat.

Health pros tell all to:

  • Keep in from 12 to 4 p.m., when the sun hits hard.
  • Sip lots of water to deal with the hot weather.
  • Put on airy, loose outfits
  • Put on sunscreen and keep out of direct sunlight

The NCM says it will stay hot and dry, but some spots might get a little rain now and then. With expected UAE temperature in the mid to high 40s all over the country, bosses are reminded about laws that let outdoor workers rest during the hottest part of the day.

Authorities Ready as UAE Weather Gets Hotter

The Ministry of Interior and Civil Defense teams across the emirates are ready for emergencies because of the heat. Places with many workers, especially in Sharjah and Al Ain, now have tents for water and first-aid.

Weather experts watch systems forming over the mountains. If the weather changes fast, they might send out warnings about thunderstorms right away in the UAE temperature.

As the hot spell holds, people in the area should look at daily weather and heat levels using NCM’s app and online sites. Drivers need to have water and safety kits in their cars and not leave kids or pets in parked cars at any time.

Town authorities around the UAE are boosting public safety talks, giving out water, and making more shaded spots in busy walking areas. Cool spots in big malls and government buildings stay open to give some relief during very hot times.

Weather pros tell people that the UAE weather pattern shows bigger changes in climate affecting the area, and watching this closely will be key in the days to come.
